Why do they feel helpless? Because the teachers will get you suspended for stuff like this. Because of "Zero Tolerance" policies that create more monsters than they prevent. Have a thoughtful and empathetic class discussion about the killings? No, shove it under the bus. Teachers trying to understand their students? No, just assume they're all a threat. How can she even go to class now and look that teacher in the eyes? I have no doubt she understood why he pulled the trigger and this incident probably only reinforced it. I was suspended under similar circumstances. I saw the fear in my principal's eyes. How can you learn without even basic respect? She seems alright for an American woman. I might have even asked a girl like that out.

You can't even get kids to read books anymore. She's writing original pieces that's even better. She'll be ok, she should look at this as good publicity and don't even bother to re-enroll with the same school

I loved the poem! But I wouldn't bother even having her in my presence, she's still too far gone. Practically all westeners are. I hope all of you take this poem to heart; this goes for all of you vagina-loving expats too. Cancer doesn't just go away when you leave. It spreads. Because it's YOU that spreads it.
