What's your initial thoughts in returning to the USA? Has it changed? Have you at least gotten some real mexican food prepared by real mexican people?

I just woke up. From the airport and streets, it looks the same. The only difference I see is that everyone has smart phones and tablets now. But it was weird seeing the cold masculine faces of American women again, who are polite but not flirtatable at all. lol. Also their "unattainable" vibe.

Why are you so obsessed with Mexican food?

I'm surprised Las Vegas is cold now though. I didn't think it ever got cold here. I've never been here when it was cold.

I have been to Vegas many times on business as it's only about a 30 minute flight from LA. Vegas can get very cold in the mornings and nights and also very hot during the day as essentially it is a desert.

I don't particularly like Las Vegas as it's full of dumb people from the Midwest who save up all year and then go there to blow 3-5K at the casino's in hopes to win a million. You will also find grandma's and grandpa's literally on an oxygen tank still smoking, diagnosed with lung cancer blowing money and having fun with their last days on the planet. It's actually quite sad.

Then if you're there during spring break you will find all the college kids getting completely hammered, throwing up, walking around and being obnoxious. Pretty much anyone can get laid by the drunk college girls because they are so hammered for days on end.

May I recommend a good Authentic Italian restaurant owned and managed by a couple Italian guys from Puglia region and Venezia. And yes you can find "vegetarian" food there.

A nice place to go and enjoy a martini, good food in a quiet atmosphere with one of your lady friends.

Though knowing you you'll probably just take them to the Olive Garden.

I also recommend if you like to go out and grab a few drinks at night Old Town Las Vegas has the coolest pubs and it's where the locals go to hangout. My favorite Hotel/Casino is off the strip it's the Hard Rock.

I never been there so I can imagine. However, that burger bar photo of the spicy fries and meaty burger looks like a man-sized meal. Yeah I had sweet potato fries somewhere else before, and they marry well in matrimony together with the man-sized burgers.

The burgers there are enormous and the best I have found in the country.

I used to be infatuated with Fuddrucker's 1-lb burgers back in 2002; at least the ones
in the Gay T.L. (Atlanta) were scrumptious. But then in 2005 I had gone to DC,
and there's a Fuddruckers off of 13th St NW or something like that, and it was mediocre
at best. Then I figured when around the time I was in Dallas in 2009 to try FuddRuckers
again, I was so disappointed.

Basically, Vegas is only good for the food? Hey, EuroBrat, have you been to any of the
buffets in VEgas? I heard they are also the best in the country too.

Thanks for the food suggestions guys. But I don't need the best in town. Average food places and buffets here are already very good, much better than anything you'd find in Asia. Eurobrat, what's wrong with Olive Garden? Sheesh. And why is a veggie burger "girly"? Geez. Are you some macho redneck who believes that real men eat meat? lol. What kind of freethinker are you? I'm fine with Olive Garden's all you can eat pasta, salad and breadsticks for $9.99. Or the great salad buffet at Sweet Tomatoes for under $10.

Also, I prefer to eat away from the crowded strip, as much as possible. We get to eat a lot here for free anyway, since my aunt is a big gambler and has credits and points on her membership card redeemable for free food and buffet at many casinos.

Btw Eurobrat, why are you espousing the myth that drunk college girls are easy lays? If that were true, every horny guy would be laying them. But you miss one important thing. Drunk college girls don't get drunk alone. They are in a group of friends, which often includes guys, who all PROTECT her from going home with some random guy when she's drunk. I've had drunk American girls come on to me, only to be pulled away by their friends who are making sure she doesn't go home with strangers while drunk. So it isn't that easy to take them home. Perhaps you are thinking of what you see in movies, not reality.

Btw, some more impressions of America after being back:

Today we went out to a buffet and some furniture stores to get new furniture for the new house. We also saw the new house too, which is almost finished.

The buffet was delicious and far cheaper than what you'd get for a Western buffet in the Philippines, and had far more choices too. However, I can't believe how FAT people are everywhere. It's hard to find anyone who is not fat or does not have a pot belly. Crazy.

How come there are so many Hispanics working in Las Vegas? It feels like affirmative action gone wild. lol. Almost every casino worker and waitress is Hispanic.

It's nice to see clean streets and buildings again, with spacious room everywhere. And it's nice to be able to talk and be understood the first time without repeating myself over and over again like I have to in the Philippines or Taiwan. Here I don't need to say anything twice or repeat myself.

However, the sad thing is that all around, there is this feeling of ISOLATION from others. It's not just the physical barrier in your home. It's like a mindset. But people are at least friendly and polite and considerate. You don't have to worry about pickpockets or physical danger like you would in a poor corrupt country.

But I guess it's a culture shock to see people looking like balloons everywhere, as if it were the norm. lol.

I think Chinese people are thin because the food generally sucks. I've lost weight here, simply because I can't find anything that's really delicious.

I mean in the supermarket about 60% of the aisles have nothing in them I can eat. I just don't understand why people would want to eat shrunken bits of meat, or foil wrapped duck gizzards or fish swim bladders or chicken feet or bits of tree or shrub or horribly smelly Durian (which people go wild for here, even though it's expensive and imported from Thailand).

Well if you come here Winston then pack your luggage allowance with American food, especially good chocolate!!!

I knew it you cheap-o! You can't even take one of your girlfriends out for a nice $35 meal at a sit down restaurant run by real italians. Instead you opt for the cheap Italian food made by mexicans!

Oh check this out: in Sydney Australia, I was in a hostel and there were a group of White American chicks staying in the same room as me. One of them came back to the hotel room so badly drunk that I was accompanying her and she was so hot. We had a full-on conversation about everything under the moon. So she crashed and went to sleep.

So I didn't try to f.uck her while she was sleeping.

So a few hours later, I had woken up and went around the corner and had gotten a dozen eggs, turkey bacon (I like the meatiness of it), cheese, wheat bread, pre-fried falafel, a bag of brown rice pre-cooked, and habichuela beans pre-cooked. I had prepared all of that in a hour for her. I put the plate of food next to her and asked her to eat it so she will feel better. She said, "Okay. I will" and went back to sleep.

So I had gone out for two hours to get some food in Kings' Cross (it's pricey as f.cuk but tastey - and I did not monger in Sydney - yucks).
When I came back, the plate of food (untouched in content, untouched in position on the bed) had attracted a few gnats circling around it and she moved out of the room and to an anonmynous room down the hall with other roommates.

Even before she did that, I already had it in my mind the mantra, "Do it once, shame on them (so being the nice dude that I am, let's see if this will be appreciated even though she's an Ameriskank.). Long and behold: she proved her feminist LGBT supporters right again....Western women, especially American women are the worst!

What's odd is how such degenerate looking people can have money to buy whatever they want like middle class people do. And also what's odd is how so many fat degenerates can populate such clean streets and strip malls. lol. It's like clean modern streets littered with fat degenerates everywhere. Weird combination isn't it? lol

Hi all,
I'll be returning to the USA in a few days. I haven't been back since 2009. Hope things aren't too bad back there. lol

I will be arriving in Las Vegas first, where my parents are and have bought a new home. I will be visiting some close female friends there, and maybe in Reno too. From there, I will probably visit my favorite state of Arizona again for its superb nature and spiritual landscapes. Possibly Utah and maybe Southern California too.

It's easy to understand, the new generation of Americans are spoiled because their grandparents built the infrastructure of the country and their parent's supplied them with everything, education to make their own living, clothing, housing, medical and food.
