Reading between the lines on television
Reading between the lines on television
Everyone knows that Western television is nonsense propaganda, but sometimes you can get a glimpse of the real world situation by reading between the lines. For example, on channels like the Discovery Channel, many of the so-called experts wheeled in to state the obvious about particular topics are members of the affirmative action classes - females, blacks, mestizos and such like. So on the face of it one could conclude that such people were capable of human thought and were making a considerable contribution in their specialties. That is the propaganda part. However, when it comes to people ACTUALLY DOING anything requiring intelligent actions with real world consequences - recovering sunken treasure, designing and supervising the construction of large buildings, even driving trucks in the Canadian north - the people doing this are almost always white men. One presumes that if any AA types were doing the same they would be guaranteed a spot on television, but evidently there are none. Thus reading between the lines we could conclude that white men are the only people with real creative and intellectual abilities, the affirmative action stiffs pretending to be skilled professionals are total frauds and the affirmative action classes generally are intrinsically inferior to white men (which is of course the presumption of affirmative action anyway). So television can be informative if you look at it the right way.

Re: Reading between the lines on television
I was in the US for a couple months and Black faces, music and culture seemed to be everywhere in media. Clearly orchestrated. Black athlete on the beavh with two White women. Black authority figures. (Allstate, God, etc.) Black faces in ads for products that no Black ever buys. Therefore done for propaganda purposes only. Plus of course the usual woman in charge themes. Saw only one ad where the man was not the butt of the humor.Cornfed wrote:

But what really stood out like a sore thumb was the Dotheads. (Choose your term, I won't say "people from India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanks, Bhutan... Nor will I say "Indians from India".. so until you suggest something else they are Dotheads)
I'm talking about Sanjay Gupta. Martin Bashir and their ilk. It seems that if they a need expert and can't find a woman, then look for a Dothead.
I mean, come on, physician heal thyself. A region so bad that even HA'ers who will live in the rural Philippines won't move there. It's like getting advice from a guy wearing a cap that says "dunce", permanently grafted on. Sure he might have something bright to say, but why on earth would you cast him.
But ANYTHING to avoid having a normal red-blooded American White man. Always that subliminal message, you're not in charge, we the elite are, and we can pick any puppet we want, from anywhere.
Of course sometimes I saw political or economic talk shows with two to five Jews debating each other. That's different.

Explain to me the phenomenon of Louisiana electing Bobby Jindal governor. I've just kind of assumed that American white people have come to believe themselves so stupid that they have to go abroad to find some exotic ethnic in order to get anyone capable. Can the elite actually control the electoral politics of Louisiana, which has always been a world unto itself, kind of like Texas?Jester wrote: But what really stood out like a sore thumb was the Dotheads. Re: Reading between the lines on television
We can all be swayed. A couple of decades back, David Duke was headed to be governor or Senator from Louisiana, by a landslide, running on a tough anticrime platform getting a fraction of the Black vote in the polls, till the Bush Republicans paid Ollie North $1 million to come stump for the BLATANTLY CROOKED DEMOCRAT, it may have been Moon Landrieu, not sure. My point is that in those days both David Duke AND Ollie North were heroes to most normal White Southern voters. So control is not accomplished through abrupt 180's, it's accomplished by nudging, by nuances.gsjackson wrote:Explain to me the phenomenon of Louisiana electing Bobby Jindal governor. Re Bobby Jindal, I deliberately left him off the list, thinking that his case was more complex, since he actually has a Southern accent and seems to be assimilated, not an in-your-face carpetbagger. But maybe he is in fact the best example. From his very few appearances on the national TV platform, I LOVE the guy. But Louisiana has over one MILLION men who I would ALSO love as governor. Why Jindal? Yup. Dothead.
In this case we didnt go ABROAD, technically, but Republican Whites definitely felt they needed "protective coloration".
They think they're smart. I would say they are more focused on winning elections than on telling the truth.
My favorite example in history of White Christians who thought being cute, being sneaky, making alliances with foreigners etc would save them, is the Byzantine Empire. Religious, rich, and technologically advanced. None of that saved them.

Good point. +1
As in: "It's Santori time!" (From the movie "Lost In Translation", where actor/spokesperson Bill Murray is being paid millions simply to appear as a Famous White Guy in an ad on Japanese TV.
Too bad you dont like Swedish blondes, Kaji, everyone says dark-skinned men do well in SCHVEE-den.
Oh well.
