How many of you have daughters?
How many of you have daughters?
A lot of Anti-Feminism here, which is fine as we all love free speech don't we?
Do any of you fellas who rant on about the 'evils' of feminism have children? A daughter?
I ask because I have a daughter and as a bright, funny, inquisitive little girl, I would hate her to grow into an adult and marry some thick dullard who thinks he has the right to be overbearing because he has a penis and testicles.
Also, I encourage her right (even at this early stage) to be what she wants to be. What is wrong with that?

Yes, there is free speech going on in this forum and other forums which are against feminism and are supportive to Men's rights.argaluza wrote:A lot of Anti-Feminism here, which is fine as we all love free speech don't we?

Yes, I have 2 daughters already adults, university educated (Japan, Canada) and 1 Filipina fosterdaughter still in university, and I am married since over 30 years, never divorced.
However I am European man, living in Asia, with Asian wife - and this makes the difference.
I am sure in Europe and not to talk about USA I would be still a single man without family. It's not only about Western women themselves, it's also about the legal situation. In Western countries as man, especially as father you are nothing but a 2nd class citizen and an ATM.
If you are a man and interested to create a family, you are good off to leave your Western country and settle down somewhere else with a foreign wife, no question about it.

I have a 15-year-old daughter and I am as anti-feminist as anyone here. Feminism does not encourage girls to be what she wants to be. Feminism encourages girls to become masculine sluts. This is not what I want for my daughter. My daughter's main interest right now is cooking, and I definitely encourage this.
Re: How many of you have daughters?
No, I don't have a daughter, but I find Hungarian women inspiring because they show how women can remain kind and feminine while still succeeding in the modern world.argaluza wrote: Do any of you fellas who rant on about the 'evils' of feminism have children? A daughter?
Do you think your daughter has the right to be rude to any man who is less intelligent than she is?argaluza wrote: I ask because I have a daughter and as a bright, funny, inquisitive little girl, I would hate her to grow into an adult and marry some thick dullard who thinks he has the right to be overbearing because he has a penis and testicles.

If your answers to these questions differ, you should ask yourself "Why?"
There's nothing wrong with women succeeding professionally. But there is something wrong with them feeling that they have the right to insult men whenever they feel like it. Having one gender totally care less about the other gender's feelings poisons a society with accumulating resentment which will eventually boil over in unpleasant forms.argaluza wrote:Also, I encourage her right (even at this early stage) to be what she wants to be. Re: How many of you have daughters?
So exactly what might give most so called feminists dullards the right to be overbearing just because she is sitting on a vajay-jay? So any anti-feminist commentary is by definition a "rant"?argaluza wrote:A lot of Anti-Feminism here, which is fine as we all love free speech don't we?

I encourage my not yet 14 year-old daughter to realistically evaluate possibilities and make informed
choices. Most women and most men should not focus too much on "Self esteem" and "self potential",
as for most of us, our self-potential sucks.
Rather than continually fluff my daughters pillow and tell her that if she dropped a turd in the
middle of the living room floor, it's actually a gold-wrapped chocolate bar, I have always taught her
that even if she does her best, she needs to attach herself to things that are bigger and more important than just herself. Of course, for feminists, there is NOTHING more important than self.
So...my brow-beaten non-feminist brainwashed daughter, has somehow managed to be doing college level work before she is even 14, and is somewhat of a prodigy, as she sets up and administers her own servers and has the verbal skills of an advanced adult.
She actually thinks she has to EARN her place in this world vs some kind of silly feminist entitlement.
All that said, yes some men are brutes, as some women are bitche$. Fortunately, there are quite a few men and women who are neither one.

Sure, there are women wanting to be wives who do not subscribe to feminism - nothing wrong with that, nothing wrong with wanting to marry a woman who is subservient and a homemaker.Yohan wrote:Yes, there is free speech going on in this forum and other forums which are against feminism and are supportive to Men's rights.argaluza wrote:A lot of Anti-Feminism here, which is fine as we all love free speech don't we?

Yes, as a father, you are a walking ATM, and that is why I would expect more from my little girl than to be a doormat to some insecure idiot. Unless that is what she wanted of course.
What would make a woman become a masculine slut? Becoming a firefighter? Taking up a sport such as rugby instead of crochet? Wearing jeans instead of a skirt? Inform me.fschmidt wrote:I have a 15-year-old daughter and I am as anti-feminist as anyone here. Feminism does not encourage girls to be what she wants to be. I found those questions strange, nobody has the right to be rude to anybody. If your answers to these questions differ, you should ask yourself "Why?"
Nobody has the right to insult anybody, I think you are mixing up a bad upbringing with telling your daughter that she is as capable as a man in a lot of ways. There's nothing wrong with women succeeding professionally. Re: How many of you have daughters?
It doesn't, call out rude, overbearing behaviour wherever it exists.OutWest wrote: So exactly what might give most so called feminists dullards the right to be overbearing just because she is sitting on a vajay-jay? So any anti-feminist commentary is by definition a "rant"?
So, if you are not aware of your own self potential and have not tried to reach for it yourself, why disable your own daughters dreams and ambitions because you didn't do it yourself?I encourage my not yet 14 year-old daughter to realistically evaluate possibilities and make informed

You can explain to her that she isn't the centre of the universe and that she has to treat people right (even men) but she can also set her dreams and ambitions and she is as good as a man. Why are these mutually incompatible?Rather than continually fluff my daughters pillow and tell her that if she dropped a turd in the

Oooh, well done you. I am sure wifey and the school she attends has some bearing as do outside influences like heroes, peer role models etc (mostly female teachers, friends, singers, aunties, mum, granny). It isn't all down to just you bud.So...my brow-beaten non-feminist brainwashed daughter, has somehow managed to be doing college level work before she is even 14, and is somewhat of a prodigy, as she sets up and administers her own servers and has the verbal skills of an advanced adult.
I am also sure she thinks she is equal to any male her age in an academic setting, correct? She actually thinks she has to EARN her place in this world vs some kind of silly feminist entitlement.
Indeed. All that said, yes some men are brutes, as some women are bitche$. Fortunately, there are quite a few men and women who are neither one.

Yes, being a firefighter and playing rugby are masculine activities. Most normal women would not choose these activities unless pressured to do so by a feminist culture. And I assume you know what a slut is.argaluza wrote:What would make a woman become a masculine slut? Becoming a firefighter? Taking up a sport such as rugby instead of crochet? It depends on how you define feminism. Feminism is not a monolithic movement or entity. It has many shades and many objectives and many levels, some of which are deceptive and others are honest.
In the 1970's, women believed in equality and women's lib. Yet they were still sweet, feminine, kind, good natured, cool, friendly and social with men. They were not bitches.
The feminism wave of the 90's is a different thing altogether. That's why women became monsters after that, and vilified flirtation, courting and being pursued.
No one here is against equality. But when a movement turns women into hateful monsters and DESTROYS their femininity, then it's a bad thing. If every woman were like that, there'd be no families and the human race would not live on. But that's what the Satanic Illuminati wants. They want men to be weak and homosexual, and women to be in charge. Then there will be no resistance to their NWO.
This has nothing to do with teaching your daughter to stand up for herself.
In the 1950's and 1960's, women did not obey or submit to any random guy with a penis. They did not do that in the 1800's either. Yet they were still feminine, sweet, good natured, and had values. They acted like women. What's wrong with that?

Ah right, you still subscribe to rigid gender roles? So a male chef is a big nancy boy as cooking is deemed suitable for females?fschmidt wrote:Yes, being a firefighter and playing rugby are masculine activities. Cooking is fine for both sexes. I subscribe to gender roles but not to rigidity People should do what naturally appeals to them, not what is dictated by society. And since women naturally have different preferences, they should be allowed to follow those preferences. I once met a lesbian lumberjack who was more masculine than most men I know. I have no problem with that since that was her nature. What I hate about feminism and modern culture is that these things actively pressure people to become evil.argaluza wrote:Ah right, you still subscribe to rigid gender roles? I define it by the Oxford dictionary. It depends on how you define feminism. Feminism is not a monolithic movement or entity. It has many shades and many objectives and many levels, some of which are deceptive and others are honest.
feminism
ˈfɛmɪnɪz(ə)m/Submit
noun
1.
the advocacy of women's rights on the ground of the equality of the sexes.
Nothing more, nothing less.
Agreed. In the 1970's, women believed in equality and women's lib. Yet they were still sweet, feminine, kind, good natured, cool, friendly and social with men. They were not bitches.
That is just people who haven't been brought up properly, the experiment that went badly wrong wasn't feminism but the way children have been disciplined - a smack on the arse still has its place in bringing up a child - and the lack of it has turned out nasty spiteful adults. Blaming feminism for this is wrong in my view as there are as many nasty, rude, spiteful, pig ignorant young men these days as well as women. The feminism wave of the 90's is a different thing altogether. That's why women became monsters after that, and vilified flirtation, courting and being pursued.
The reason men are 'weak' these days is because a lot of them have lacked a proper upbringing also. We have a young generation of people who are just lacking in the most basic of qualities.
You know yourself Winston - those old babushkas who were both feminine and feminist? Who manned the artillery at Stalingrad and wore their medals with pride but took great care in the way they looked and looked after their husbands and families - both can co-exist.
Feminism isn't the enemy. Not in its truest sense. This has nothing to do with teaching your daughter to stand up for herself.
