Does America make you want to use drugs?

Weed, anti-depressants, a drink of scotch, whatever your medicine is.

I read there was a 400% increase in anti-depressant meds in the United States. I don't think it is natural or healthy that people have to take a pill to keep themselves from crawling out of their skin. I stopped taking anti-depressants a long time ago but I definitely smoke weed more than I should because hell, weed works. A doctor told me to cut that out completely and replace it with four different medications to take every damn day. I never said it out loud but I started thinking doctors were just crack dealers. Some of my best friends are pot smoking hippies in Austin that formed a whole culture around getting high and playing soccer. In Arlington, I would rather be high than to endure the sober world that is made of concrete and where everything is made for commercial use instead of human interaction. All of my friends are working all the time or spending time with their GFs and the only people that talk to me are salespeople. I have become so tired of listening to sales pitches that I am always rolling my eyes behind dark sunglasses and just bored out of my mind with talking to them. Even if she is an attractive woman she has nothing interesting to say because I will never know her on a personal level. All people are concerned about are their careers. Last night I watched the basketball game at a restaurant that I don't even like very much only because I have two friends that work there. It was nice that somebody asked me how I was doing in a way that was real and not an artificial greeting. I just want to tell people if they don't want to connect with me as a person then go away.

So you know what, if being numbed out on grass gives me some measure of relief for this artificial business culture then wonderful. I also work out on a regular basis but even that gets monotonous after a while because people at the gym are the same humanoids.

Its ok man...You are not at fault....Society is messed up...You are right...everyone around you is wrong...But it is crafted in such a way that..everything that is wrong with the society gets the blame due to you...

We should sympathize with people who take stuff...They are just going through extreme suffering..They are looking for a way out of constant misery which is not at all their fault..We are all trapped in this prison called earth...

In India, Smoking weed was no big deal for over 10,000 years..Its only when UN and America showed up, they made it a big deal...We use to drink Bhang, substance made of flowers of weed during Holi festivals mixed with milk..it was a tradition...you can Google it...even today, the best weeds are made in India...Weeds grow wild here...really its no big deal here...its like having a coffee...

In America..They make you feel guilty about everything that is not conformed to elites way of doing things...

It nothing to be felt guilty or ashamed about, its proof from over 10,000 years of weed smoking in India :) good luck

Can't really blame you

I think that this speaks volumes for a lot of things. That people feeling the same way as, or as trapped as you do are not uncommon.

Sending people to shrinks and telling them that it's their attitude, not their circumstances vs. taking them seriously and changing circumstances is analogous to sweeping shit under the table where it can still fester and stink the place out, as opposed to clearing it up and flushing it down the toilet.

Personally, no. I may not get tang on my wang, but working out and working have kept my mind in a realm of pseudo-positivity. Even if I do not have intimate contact with many women here in the States, I do have friends to keep me sane, some sites to gain information and occasionally let off steam, physical activity, and girls on QQ :D.
Grand Admiral Game taught me how to improve my mindset in order to achieve the success that I wanted in life!
