This law ends the "he said, she said" debates by basically ignoring anything the male says and enables retroactive retraction of oral consent (morning-after regret). In other words, women can give consent, then state later they didn't, and the male is toast. Forever. Males had better get written or videoed consent to prevent being targeted as a criminal by women who regret their decisions. That's still not sufficient, because if the woman declares she was drunk or high (no evidence necessary - the women's word is sufficient alone under this law), again the male is automatically a criminal, forever, if the woman decides the next day she regrets her decision and even if the male as documented consent. Any CA parent with a male child should be extremely afraid.
I am a man, and I have been raped by 3 women in my lifetime. Twice, I woke up to a woman going down on me while I was asleep (trying to get me hard so they could climb on). I did not give consent. Once, I woke up to a fat girl riding me....no consent there either. But noone cares about that. Think I can get justice for those 3 misdeeds against me in a court of law? This law is STUPID, and it WILL be abused.
So if you are a male California student and passions get hot, stop what you are doing, pull out one of your handy "affirmative sexual activity" contracts and ask the woman to sign it. Actually you should probably get her to sign a ASA contract before you ever start talking to her in the first place. Even better, you should move out of the ridiculous place in favor of a common sense state where men and women really are equal and are equally responsibility for their own decisions and behavior.
Future conversations before having sex.
"If you'll just sign this form agreeing to sexual contact, sign the line at the bottom and initial the various sexual contacts your consenting to."
"Great, thank you."
"Breath into this breathalyzer"
"Great, it's reading no alcohol"
"Have you taken any drugs that could impair your decision making?"
"Okay, now please remove your own clothes and assume the sexual position of your choice"
"Let me know when it's safe to touch you, and in what way"
Ugh...
The problem here is that this law will just create more lawsuits, and many of those will be just out of revenge or embarrassment instead of rape.
This law will wreck many lives and wrongfully label many people as sexual offenders.
I had an experience in college where I went to Mardi Gras in a car with two girls. After much tequila one of them pounced on me in the hotel room and we ended up having sex.
We did so again later when she was a lot less drunk. She had a boyfriend at another college and on the return trip she decided that she had been "raped" or at least taken advantage of. Upon return from the trip she went on to ruin my reputation. She ended up destroying my chances with a girl I actually liked, whereas she was pretty annoying. I don't know how it went with the off campus boyfriend.
I have stated this before, I warned my son to get any girl he may be with to sign a statement saying yes and to record her name, DOB, and DL number stating yes before he even so much as holds her hand.
I know real sexual assaults happen on college campuses all the time, but when a young lady decides to go out and get drunk or high then says she wants to have sex, but changes her mind the next day also happens on college campuses. The girls must take responsibility as much as the young man.
Also any man or boy that gives a date rape drug to a young lady needs to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
So if I wanna spontaneously in the spur of the moment kiss a gal I'm on a date with that likes me i shouldn't anymore or risk my college degree. How about buying her a drink or even taking her on a date involving drinks. It could cost me my future.
So I guess Ill pass on college women. Having fun with college women is now gambling with your future. And my future's more important than what an upset women can do as far as changing her mind and getting me in trouble because her feelings may've gotten hurt, or i forgot her birthday, or I didn't correctly guess what was wrong with her, or just because she can, just to be a b**ch, and because of it i raped her. The mere risk of an arrest record alone is off putting.
This should scare every man in any US college. Depending on the wording, consensual sex can still be considered rape if the woman, for any reason, cries rape.
True rapes should be prosecuted, but it's the gray area that it really gets scary. I'm talking about that small number of women that use crying rape as a punishment for guys they may be mad at or they feel treated them wrong. That's when it gets scary. That takes away from the true victims of rape, date rape or any other sexual abuse women suffer.
Now my real question: how do so many "educated" women (since they are in college) get themselves into such dicey predicaments as having to face the 'he said/she said' yes/no argument in the first place? Any why so often? And why can't they figure out how to avoid it or get out of it as they see it coming? And to such a great extent that the government feels compelled to address this with a ne law? Where the hell is the N.O.W. and other womens groups on this? Why are the women not taking the right steps to protect themselves and stay out before it starts? You think this is a new phenomenon. This is the same stupid argument that my generation had on every date and singles night out at the bars and clubs back in the 1980s. We handled it, why can't women in California?
And nature has so designed the sexes that women have far more control over sex than men. No comparison. So the pressure in this field is all on men. Men stay home and beat your meat. Women on the other hand have far more need in just getting pregnant than having sex. Men care less about being a dad and all that nonsense. He just want his peter wet. So guess what guys, beat your meant and sell your sperm for big dollar. It is the only justice. Watch out so doesn't come after you for child support. So sell it totally anonymously. And if you must stick your peter in there, get an attorney and tape everything or else take the chance of going to prison and be called SEX PREDATOR.
My advice to young men in college. You need to recognize college is somewhat hostile to heterosexual males. I would just hang out with my buddies. Go to games and parties. Get a little wild and crazy. Have fun. Do not have sex. And it is probably not a good idea to date. I mean why even go there. After college once you have a job you can date. You will be ready for it. Why risk an unwanted pregnancy, STD, rape accusation etc. Just keep it fun and carefree in college.
It's getting dangerous to interact with any woman, even abroad, as they begin adopting U.S. modus operandi. Maybe safer to interact with Muslim women? if the Muslim men don't kill you first.Ghost wrote:It is dangerous to even interact with an AW. Stay away from them. Your life depends on it.
Sci Fi writer Robert A. Heinlein stated something to effect, "Sex should be friendly; otherwise stick to mechanical toys." There was another recent thread about sexbots becoming a reality in 2025. There you go!

In a post on another forum, I predicted that after criminalizing all sexual contact with Western females by non-elite men, the next step evil Western regimes would take would be to hire females (perhaps called "rape wardens") to find out when any female had had sex and then convince her to feel bad about the sex and file charges. I wonder whether they have got around to that yet.

So you finally admit that you are a "non-elite" man. This is progress indeed. Now if only you would disclose your status as a incel, it would be groundbreaking.Cornfed wrote:In a post on another forum, I predicted that after criminalizing all sexual contact with Western females by non-elite men, the next step evil Western regimes would take would be to hire females (perhaps called "rape wardens") to find out when any female had had sex and then convince her to feel bad about the sex and file charges. One of my concerns is when they start applying the same type of rules to sex in marriage. We have a problem in our culture when feminist fornicators are the ones trying to issue moral proclamations about what is acceptable sexual behavior.
If states would enforce the old fornication laws, that might do away with some of the false accusations of rape. If a woman was shown not to have been raped, then the sex was fornication, and she could be prosecuted along with the man.
I read that in Canada, it's considered illegal for a wife to wake her husband up with sex or vice versa because they say you can't give consent when you are sleeping, even if you gave consent beforehand. That's a rather intrusive way of looking at things. I like it better in the old days where they assume if you are married, you will have sex.

Time to Hide!
Exactly, I have been thinking the same thing. In the US, there are already "spousal rape laws" that a wife can file against her husband.MrMan wrote:One of my concerns is when they start applying the same type of rules to sex in marriage. Can you believe it, in the United States a man can go to prison for having sex with his wife? WTF?

"When I think about the idea of getting involved with an American woman, I don't know if I should laugh .............. or vomit!"

“The flipped dynamic is what concerns critics of SB 967. Under an affirmative consent standard, sexual activity is sexual assault unless the accused can prove that the accusing party consciously and voluntarily agreed to engage in sexual activity. Moreover, the accused student must prove that the consent was ongoing, said Cohn, with the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education.â€

Sex might as well be outlawed unless men are willing to videotape every sexual encounter so that they have clear proof that it was consensual. Even then they still might get in trouble. The consent has to be ongoing so a man might get in trouble if the woman did not say “yes†often enough. Theoretically, the law could also be used against women, but I doubt that will happen.
