An experience I had at the store earlier today

I went into the deli to get a chicken dinner on my way to work. When I got there a girl was already in line ahead of me so I took my spot behind her. She ended up turning around and said "Sorry, you can go ahead! I'm not ready yet!" So I thanked her and went ahead and ordered my food. After I ordered my food I went and stood at the other end of the counter where they give you your food and this girl joined me after she ordered hers. Now this girl was gorgeous! She was late teens/early 20s and thin with blonde hair and big beautiful blue eyes. So naturally, being a redblooded young man, I was very captivated by her beauty but I tried to avoid making it obvious. But hell! I couldn't help it so I tried to get another good look at her when she was standing beside me and when I did she made eye contact with me and flashed me the most beautiful smile! It gave me the butterflies in my stomach and made me feel ten feet tall and bulletproof. It put me in a good mood and I have been thinking about it all day. I'm not going to sugarcoat it, this is pathetic! It's pathetic that I am so deprived of meaningful connections with women here in the states that shit like this excites me. Attractive women here just don't have the time to be friendly and smile at average male peons. So when guys like me have this shit happen its like sex for us. It's criminal that stuff is this bad here in the U.S! A guy shouldn't have to feel like he encountered a unicorn when he meets a pretty girl that seems sweet and friendly. But that's how it is! It's just sad....

I know how you feel though. It's a sick sign of your environment when the fact that a stranger is friendly to you in a substantial way ends up feeling like some great present. It will become depressing when you realize that you could probably count every single instance of it that has happened to you on your hands.

I didn't say anything to her but I'm pretty sure she would have been friendly and made small talk with me. And if I had asked for her number she would have probably given me her number (or a fake one) only to ignore my call or text. I have never been rejected with the "I have a boyfriend" line. I normally get the numbers but the girls never respond or end up ignoring my calls or texts.

I can totally guarantee this totally did not happen anywhere in Illinois! In fact, I bet this probably happened in the deep south, most likely the Gulf Coast region. Whenever I even used to get these emails from women on the Internet that claimed they wanted a date or something with me, that itself was enough to put butterflies in my stomach. To me, it would be just like a storm chaser who sees a huge anvil top cloud ahead, gets closer and sees the "barber's pole" formations on the main storm tower, turns on the radio, and hears that there's a tornado warning issued for the area. Basically his radio has the following message; "The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Warning for this county in this state. At that time local time, National Weather Service Doppler Radar indicated a supercell storm with strong rotation near that town, moving northeast at 30 miles per hour. A tornado may allready be on the ground, take cover immediately."
