Just think of how things have changed in the time since that video was made. In those days if you were a Westerner and it was possible to collect welfare from the West while living in Bangkok, which it probably was in those halcyon days before everything was computerized, then you could live like a king. These days you would be just as broke as you would be in the West.

It is happening for sure. The thing is, the glorious destinations change. Next may be Mayanmar, Laos or Cambodia.

Sad for posters in here is that in the end, the only places left to go will all be Africa.

I love that song, but it's kind of taboo in Thailand and you'll never hear it there. A shame really, because it's written by the guys from ABBA and is spot on.

There are also a few remixes of it if you hunt around download/torrent sites and youtube.

Also if you watch Hangover Pt II you'll hear the worst cover version of it in history.

As for One Night in Bangkok... I spent 6 months there. You cannot put a price on that.
