Hi everyone.
Im in baiyu now. Its means white jade in Chinese. Its at the west end of ganzi, a tibetan prefecture in Sichuan province, close to the border of tibet. You can see pics of it here:

Ive been visiting the big Buddhist monastery on the mountain the last few days and cleansing my karma in prayer and chanting. Its a nice small town surrounded by high mountains.

Most people here are tibetan. The tibetan girls are shy and reserved and not that curious about foreigners as chinese girls are, so i wouldnt recommend coming here for dating. They seem very insular too.

But the tibetan architecture is amazing and colorful, similar to european architecture.

From here i will either head to chongqing or kunming and fly back to shenzhen to be with my new girlfriend and see my other friends there too.

Guess what guys? Me and ethan_sg pooled together a lot of girls we know into a wechat group called HA language exchange. Its amazing, we have 8 guys and 18 girls now! Most of the girls are young and attractive or at least cute. The girls heavily outnumber the guys and so ethan said that rather being a sausage fest, its a taco party, whatever that means. Lol. Why is an over abundance of girls called a "taco party"?

Anyhow, ethan_sg made a great observation about our china language exchange group that id like to share with you all:

This is your bread and butter Winston, I thought you'd open a whole new section on the main site pages showing your China adventures, along the Russia and Philippines stuff.
I think at the very least you could use Youtube (if they haven't banned you, i don't remember) for the videos, and Shutterfly for the pics.
You're just probably having too much fun and don't have time to work on the website.

In our Wechat group we are all laughing at marcos zeitolas remarks. One thing he is definitely wrong about is when he says that the only reason chinese females have smoother better higher quality skin than filipinas is because of skin care products rather than genes. That totally destroys his credibility right there. I doubt his education and basic IQ now. I wonder if he will ever retract such a dumb statement that everyone knows is false. He also acts like a liberal in denying the existence of genetics altogether. In our wechat group we are making fun of all this. How can a HAer be so wrong and clueless and unreasonable?

Probably because his wife and son are filipino so he has a personal bias in not wanting to believe or accept that his wife has lower quality genes comparatively in Asia. Thats understandable. However, he is still wrong on many things, such as genetics having no affect on skin quality. Any educated person knows hes wrong on that.

Never been to the Philippines but I think the hot climate and combine that with the bad diet does lead to bad skin or aging.

If it;s all about genetics than please explain to me why Asian American girls act like such bitches ...Environment plays just as big of a role in our development. Look at the better diet in the wealthy Asian countries and you notice taller Asian men and women.

Regarding skin care products you have lots of Chinese women visiting South korea to buy skin care products. I dated in the past both Chinese and Korean women ..now married to a Korean woman. I can say definite that if a woman takes good care of her skin it does play a BIG difference...it's not all genetics..

This site is about happier abroad. For some posters they found it in the Philippines..good for them. where as others they found it somewhere else. No need to crap on the whole country. I'm mean you struck out in Russia but it seems like you have more beef with the Philippines than Russia.

I don't believe that Filipinos are 'inferior' to Chinese and I'm in the Wechat group. Falcon also disagrees with Winston's statement. I think the attitude of East Asians looking down on Southeast Asians is why you see the abuse of SE Asian maids in Hong Kong and China. I think Asians could learn a thing or two from Philippine culture about how to live life in a happy way--without money and materialism.

It's not too much a Chinese thing but a superiority complex thing. I seen it in expats who live in Asia. I seen the dynamics in inter-racial couples between white guys with Asian women. I'm not saying all but ALLOT. For example I knew a white guy who married a Korean girl that lives here in the states. Whenever he gets angry he would say bad things about Korean people and the culture. He would say things like he would want to send his wife back home or that she is so lucky to marry a white guy because supposedly white man are the best.

Your in the Philippines you probably come across that type of attitude among expats . I mean think about it why do western expats target Asia..the belief that being white gives them some status because that white skin is soooo precious..it's a superiority complex that white people have..and you see this with white girls looking down on native local Asian men ..refusing to even date them because they are toooo beneath them.

Yes and no, FREQUENT use of cosmetics, good quality clothes and shoes, medical checkups, adjustments of teeth, regular beauty care makes a lot of difference, this cannot be denied.

Here in Tokyo you can see the difference immediately between the mainland-Chinese and the Japanese girls.

Mainland Chinese girls are poor compared to the local Japanese girls. Mainland Chinese girls in Japan use always the cheapest clothes, sandals, cutting their hair themselves, cannot buy anything for skin care, broken teeth, cheapest eyeglasses...living in cheapest rooms in old houses without restroom and no shower ...

To claim that mainland Chinese females are 'superior' to Filipinas cannot be true, here in Tokyo they appear to me to be about the same I would say.

I've done a lot of user testing with different ethnic groups. Chinese are some of the most confused people I've ever met. Sorry to say that.

The answer is in the educational system, Chinese are stuffed with facts and rote learning, there is very little in the way of critical thinking skills. Give a Chinese person an unfamiliar task and they are totally lost. Is it genetics, no, it is how their mind was developed and educated from early childhood. Chinese carry huge amounts of facts and figures in their head - very book smart - but lacking in creativity. All the Asian cultures suffer from this to various extents. Koreans and Japanese have improved upon critical thinking skills and Chinese are picking up momentum.

The Filipinos I have tested are similar to Chinese, they lack critical thinking skills that is well developed in modernized Western countries. Culturally, Filipinos have very little drive unlike Chinese. This can make them appear lazy and stupid, but it is cultural, not genetic in its foundation.

I would not say that Winston's course in life is a shining example of Chinese brilliance.
