Of course I defend this forum. I enforce rules and ban trolls. And I defend the awesomeness of this forum too by speaking positively about it as a unique place where we can talk about stuff that would get us banned on every other forum. If you don't believe me, go on other forums and talk about HA topics and see what happens. You will see that I'm right.

This thread and OP is asking something that's not even true. I have to balance free speech and honesty while banning trolls and discerning the difference, which requires good judgment and fairness, which I am known for. You guys are acting like a madhouse, not me. I'm the one remaining fair and rational here.

If you guys want to talk about useful topics, then post some useful threads and posts. Stop complaining. If you don't like it, then don't come here. Go to a mainstream forum where political correctness is enforced. After that, you will appreciate this forum for allowing such honesty from you "nut jobs". lol

I also do a lot of maintenance behind the scenes of this forum too, which you guys don't see. Try to be more appreciative guys. Remember that happy people count their blessings, they don't look for flaws in everything.

Once you hit a certain age it's hard to "settle down." When you've gone decades without being married, it gets difficult to accept marriage, even if that's what you want. I'm starting to feel this way too, and I'm not even out of my twenties.

The truth of the matter is that one has to get somewhat lucky to find *the one*, once a particular age barrier is reached. A lot of that has to do with one being settled in one's way but more importantly, not giving that 2nd party, enough time and space to develop a certain amount of trust and confidence. Had I not known Mel since freshman year of college, she may have been excluded, just because I wouldn't have known her well enough, to have the kind of faith that I have in her today.

Serendipity/Faith or what-have-you made it possible so today, I'm not on Bosstone's path, otherwise, I could have easily joined him.

I suppose that no longer being *young, dumb, full-of-cum* also has something to do with it but that's more on the hormonal/endorphin side than the lifestyle one.

You are no prophet or psychic Marcos. And you are so delusional that you even deny basic facts that everyone can see, such as genetics and racial differences, etc. So your credibility has been undermined and you shouldn't be making predictions since you have a low accuracy rate in your predictions. Your predictions about this forum all failed. You are not qualified to be a predictor of anything.

In China I see lots of ugly/fat/old guys with hot girls everyday. Often multiple times a day. So if they can get hot girls, why can't I? Must be something against me from above, such as Murphy's Law or heavenly forces against me. Some people are cursed or have bad karma in some areas of life. It's true, whether you acknowledge it or not.

Why don't you guys try to help by praying to have the curses and bad luck in relationships removed from my life? Do something constructive for once.

Sorry Ghost, but you are losing the flat earth debate. You have dodged many points and not studied both sides. True freethinkers study both sides of an issue objectively. You don't. You already made up your mind before doing any research. I follow the evidence. You haven't done that. You falsely assume that Copernicus is infallible and can't be questioned. Your interests should be BALANCED. I have many interests. So my life is not all about one thing. Yeah I'm seeking a wife and spend time doing that. Im at the airport now in hong kong waiting for my flight to korea. Wow the food here is such a ripoff. But the wifi at this airport is so fast. Ive never seen my forum load up so fast before.

I am thinking of you all. Wish youd all bring a little more positivity in this forum. The negativity here is too extreme. There needs to be some balance. Just as focusing only on the positive is fake and denialistic, so too is only focusing on the negative. A positive attitude cult may be delusional and BS, but so can a negative attitude cult as well, which we seem to have here. Neither extreme is good.

I believe that Blue Murder, Farmer308 and various others are in fact the same troll poster. But because the troll is being reasonable subtle about her trolling now, you would not see this unless you were on the forum on a regular basis. Hence you, as the admin, really need to spend more time here to judge these things for yourself. (Incidentally, the name "Farmer308" seems to be a parody of one of my sometime Internet handles. At least the troll retains a sense of humor). I had my say here.

Winston was kind enough to host me even though Michael Toal was posting animal porn that was hurting Winstons search engine results.

There was just not much more for me to say.

I got tired of repeating myself and being ignored.

We had a chance to stop the slow decline of the west and the slide in to a larger conflict in 2010/2011.

But I was told, in 2013, that "many will perish and this is as it should be".

Nowadays I run Manbook and the Mens Business Association Education Channel for any men who actually want to live a life they love and learn things...and we both know that they are very few men indeed. Crimes Against Fathers is still going well for hits. No one is updating it any more but it just purrs along. The adsense pays for it.

Over the last 12 months I have studied how to do internet marketing a number of ways and John Rambo and I are going to work together in that direction as well.

With manbook I have learned how to use the Newspaper Theme very well and learned about getting adsense clicks.

If you look on this page you will see the ad to the right of the video.

I get a click per 50 page views on video pages like that at an average of nearly AUD1 per click.

That is about 5x more clicks than the banner ad on the front page by views per click ratio.

So on that site I am going to run traffic to videos and pick up the ad clicks. Simple.

I have also been experimenting with sites for women....and did you know women click ads about 5x as often as men do?

I have bought a string of about 10 sites that we are going to put up and run traffic to....

I have a VPS in the US that I can scale out to anything I want.....

Some guys are making USD2K a month per site on adsense.......there are certain ideas and secrets you need to learn to do this....and that is what I have been picking up.

I am also back in my BI biz and I am doing Empower Network too...

Sad thing is....guys will not listen and learn from me.....so John Rambo and I have decided we should give up on talking to guys because they will not listen and we should just create web sites and run traffic to them for the IM revenues. John is a bit of a wiz on the web as you know.

I am collecting email addresses in to my autoresponder and presenting good value offers out to my list....it's not that hard but it does take some time to establish a "style" in your communication.

Lots of people leave....but some stay and some of them buy.....simple really.

Yeah...too much negativity here....and in most places in the man-o-sphere.

I have been listening to a lot of the inner circle audios for Empower Network....amazing stuff. It is all part of re-tuning ones mind to how to be successful in IM.

A lot of it is about positivity and mindset....but not polly anna positivity or "positive thinking".

I am much more positive now in terms of money than I have been since 2011. I have not had a work permit for 4 years so I have had to borrow money from friends....quite a bit.

It will be nice to pay them back.

The very fact that men are still bitching and moaning and complaining rather than taking my long standing advice means, to me, in my humble opinion, that the cull the committee of 300 is undertaking is absolutely the right thing to do....and I see good times ahead for those of us who know how to make sure we are not part of that cull.

As the west slowly declines there will be great opportunities to make money from the decline. Also, places like Russia and India are on the rise and I will be doing business in both places as well as business in the US.

All it really took for me to get back on track was to stop trying to help other men for free...stop trying to give men good advice for free....they don't appreciate it....indeed they hate you for it.

You are the one who needs to lead by example. Everyone looks to you to set the tone and shape things. Frankly, you don't give this forum enough time or attention. You let trolls do days or weeks of damage and then often just slap them on the wrist if you're not in the banning mood.

You've also contributed to the fragmentation of the tiny poster base by putting so much time and energy in alternative channels. I'm convinced that the FB group, wechat group, and private spinoff groups have created a lot more damage than synergy.

These days, I get my best HA inspiration from chats to certain members offline, by viewing their photos, or participating in certain groups. For example, I have to go to FB to read about Steve Neese's most recent trip reports and updates in Russia and Ukraine.

The forum itself has become overtaken more off the wall type of threads and discussions. It's no longer a one-stop shop for core HA types of posting - trip reports, experiences abroad, socializing, dating, studying, working and making money, or learning languages in countries or areas which rate highly on HA scale.

It's clear that you ignore a lot of the posts and don't really seem to care much. I've seen it happen a few times where a generally well known poster of many months or years were unknown or almost unknown to you.

You are the leader of the movement and owner and chief admin of the site so if you set that sort of example, it will ultimately drive the whole tone and feel of the place. Many higher value prolific or productive posters have moved on. The quality of your more current content has dropped off IMO and the opinion of many others.

If you would make more serious effort here, I think it would attract a lot more where that came from. If you don't give a damn, why should any of us?

There are an administrator, moderators and ordinary members.

Ordinary members are not responsible for anything, but also have no rights with this forum.

Responsible is the owner of the forum but the owner has also the right to create and guide his forum in the way which fits him.

I was writing over 11000 comments in a certain forum since it was created during almost 10 years, and suddenly the owner/admin got crazy and kicked me out. Now that forum is down to maybe 3 comments per week, from some best friends to other best friends, subject about drinking beer and otherwise BS and as replies are smileys or brainless one-liners.

Just to make it clear,
all what is going on in a forum is up to the owner/admin.

Generally I think however your HA-Forum might be controversial, but it is a good place nevertheless.

HA as its principle is serious about 'free speech' and far away from 'over-moderation', editing, banning etc. which is really the worst a forum-admin can do.

Winston perfectly understands, that not to care anymore is indeed much better than to care too much. Simply said, no moderation is better than over-moderation or insincere biased moderation of a forum. This can really ruin a forum with members are either banned or leaving by themselves.

But when it's nothing but trolls, prophets of doom, pessimism and support for conspiracy for the sake of supporting conspiracies, it's pretty clear that we're not going anywhere anymore. Quality is lessening.

This could have been a useful expat guide kind of place, but it is poorly managed. From what I see, traffic is off about 50%.

Was it ever a useful expat forum? I came here when 'the golden age' was already over, did I miss much or was it always this shitty?

The impression a visitor would get here is that the forum was somehow mislabeled. What he would see here is that Hitler was a great man, the world is flat, all conspiracy theories are true, the Jews deserved to die and there are a lot of seriously mentally ill people off their meds.. This forum has zero appeal to the vast majority of "normal" people. To feel at home here, truly at home, you'd have to be a bit of a nutjob. I suspect Winston has a variety of mental disorders, and he's not the only one. A lot of people here are compulsive conspiracy theorists. Scares off a lot of the non-crazies from even signing up in the first place, and the remainder from staying around.

I've been here since the beginning. At one time it was good. Posting all these stupid conspiracy theories, and was Hitler a great guy, doesn't belong on a Happier Abroad forum. In the beginning Mr. S and Ladislav posted frequently and you could actually learn something.
