The thing about all these complaints and condemnation from Donald Trump and Lou Dobbs about outsourcing US jobs overseas is that they ASSUME that we care about Americans more than foreigners, and that we all want to stay in America cause it's the best place in the world. But that's not true. Those are false assumptions. Why would I care about a bunch of spoiled, snobby, entitled Americans who don't even talk to their neighbors and don't even care about me and don't even invite me to their house for a BBQ? Why would I give a shit about people who don't give a shit about me? It's illogical.

Plus we all know that there are many better countries to live in than America that provide more freedom, and a better social life and dating life, as well as better health and mental health. So why would we love USA more than other countries? There's no logical reason to be that patriotic about America, yet all Americans on TV assume that we are all patriots who love America and Americans more than any other country, just because. It's a false assumption. I wish those stupid Americans who assume this could read this.

They may not be talking to you but they are talking to a lot of people. Most people here, their future and their fates are tied to the US economy. Most people care about their future and their fates. The people you see on TV are generally supportive of globalism; Trump and Dobbs are exceptions to that generality.

Let me ask, how do you make your money? This website generates ad revenue for you, then if I recall, you have some other work online (selling products?) and maybe some rental interests (thought someone on the forum said that previously).

What would happen to your income if wages and salaries in the US imploded? Those dating sites would gain nothing from advertising on HA (broke, unemployed men can forget about traveling), so they'd have to cancel their arrangements with you. If you sell something online, how do you think you'd keep up a stream of orders? Do you really think nobody could do that cheaper than you? If lots of people became unemployed, you might find your field a bit more crowded and less lucrative.

If your revenue stream dries up, how happy abroad would you be?

Assuming you are a landlord, realize that property values implode with falling wages. So your property would be devalued. Shrinking spending in the community means lower tax revenues, less policing, crime would likely rise. If your property is in California (I thought you had some ties to that state) realize that its left-leaning policies would likely favor tenants over landlords, and even your rental home would be less lucrative. Possible rent ceilings/controls? Local schools would still require plenty of taxes to keep running so it's realistic to assume your property taxes would not drop. You'd be paying them out of a lower income.

Your fate may be tied more closely to the US economy than you would like. If you're truly really, really well insulated from what happens here, you're in an unusually fortunate position.

I used to work night shift 12 hours a day...for 200 dollars a month when i graduated working for Dell Outsourced company which a American would make 4000 USD/month.
