Dollar Crash September 30th

You can go ahead and circle September 30, 2016 on your calendar. This is the date the IMF officially recognizes the Chinese Yuan in its SDR basket of currencies at exactly 12 midnight. The decision to now include the Yuan in the SDR basket is part of a larger power play by China and the US. Since 2009, China has been one of the largest lenders to the IMF. While its unlikely the US dollar will crash on this date this action could set off a chain of events that could crash the dollar.

Keep in mind, Germany told its citizens to stockpile 10 days of food and water on August 22. The Philippines, which has a long standing territorial dispute with China declared an indefinite state of emergency on September 6. After which, China and Russia started to have joint military exercises in the South China sea yesterday on September 12.

It's worth noting that this article is talking about a process which begins on September 30, but that will take YEARS to play out. Their doom and gloom forecast also makes one simple mistake. It assumes your portfolio and all your assets are denominated in dollars. If you have been investing in Singapore, Indonesia and other parts of Asia, own some precious metals and have some RMB denominated bank accounts (I have 4 now) and maybe even a little bitcoin, you have nothing to worry about.

I saw a great video, and now wish I saved it to link here, about how China has been doing with money what the British Empire and American Empire have been doing through force for centuries, and they are being much more successful with their soft takeovers.
