This song "You can do magic" came out in 1982 and was a top ten hit by the band "America." The band started in 1970 in London, England, they moved to the US in the early 70's.

Have always identified with these guys. They're my age, and formed the band when they were Air Force brats and their fathers were stationed in England -- same deal with me years earlier. I saw them three times on the casino oldies circuit in the '90s, when Americans had more money to throw away in the casinos, which shelled out good money for these acts and charged next to nothing to see them. Still sounded great. Sister Golden hair is always the crowd-pleasing finale.
