Just after I renewed my passport at the U.S. consulate in Guadalajara, as I was returning to Guanajuato, I mentioned to L that a relationship with E2 would likely not work out. So she (L) gave me contact information of her female friend (call her G2). We started building rapport over Facebook and WhatsApp, and then a few days later went on our first date (which lasted most of the day. We then talked a lot more, mostly on WhatsApp, but sometimes Facebook. The following weekend, I went on another day trip to Irapuato to see her, and we went on another all-day date, during which she introduced me to her family. And we even shared our first kiss. Two days later, I returned to Irapuato and stayed overnight there. Again, she and I went on an all-day date, this one lasting until close to 8 pm. Towards the end of the date, we became boyfriend and girlfriend.
My new girlfriend is above average by Mexican standards, as she is at least predominantly European. But most importantly, she is a very traditional woman with good family values and shows motherly love towards me. She also dresses feminine, although more modestly (even when she dresses sexy, it's not provocative). In another thread, I mentioned she is a Mormon but not devout as she sometimes goes to Catholic masses with her mom. So she is flexible regarding religions. Last but not least, my girlfriend is also artistic (she learned how to paint and draw), likes to read, sings, cooks, and is also an auxiliary paramedic.
