The R0 (naught) of the coronavirus is guessed to be around 3.3 to 5.5 by Chinese doctors. I have heard a first hand story of someone infected coughs in a room of 15 people and 14 of them caught got it. That means it's contagious as fucᴋ. Without widespread testing we will not know exactly what R0 is or the mortality rate. Some calculations of the death rate are 2% but this is likely incorrect.



Smoking is a massive risk factor for death by the coronavirus.

Question everyone:

How is this virus impacting air travel? Are mainland Chinese barred from going overseas? If so, doesn't that damage a lot of Chinese businesses, especially international ones? If so, perhaps there is a plot to undermine China's economy? Who would have to gain from that? The US? The first question a detective asks is "pro bono" which means "who benefits"?

Also, is it affecting all air travel from Asia to the US? If so in what way? Wouldn't that wreck businesses if air travel from Asia were restricted? Anybody know?

China is being quarantined by the world, the corona-virus might be the last straw to a fundamental transformation of the international system. Borrowing money may never be cheaper than right now.

It would be irrational not to be concerned about contact with Chinese people who may be infected seeing how drastic the effects of the corona virus are in China. Demands to behave with blind adherence to political correctness is callously hypocritical. As the virus spreads into pandemic this discrimination will loose its effectiveness. But today in the early parts of the pandemic racial dissemination will have some efficacy in prevention of the sickness caused by corona virus.

He knows that it means he can never return there right? What about his Chinese wife? Doesn't she want to return to China and visit her family? Won't his videos get her into trouble too?

China and the US have different kinds of freedom and both societies treat its citizens poorly in a lot of ways. To be fair he's probably on his honeymoon period having just moved to America and not yet having faced the downsides like the women or the schools which will teach his children they are not boys or girls and gender is a choice. South Africa is probably a lot freer than the USA or any western country for that matter but it's very violent and all the whites are fleeing.

He did a video on this with Laowhy86. Chinese nationalists who are mostly single young men started causing trouble for him because he married a Chinese woman considered pretty in their society although she is considered a left over woman because she was previously divorced and too old. After they failed to stop him they started causing trouble for his wife at her hospital to punish her for marrying a foreigner. They also hate Laowhy86 but they don't bother his wife because to Chinese men she's ugly so they don't care she married a foreigner. The Chinese nationalists call her "Vietnamese slave girl".

Here in Vietnam all flights from mainland China have been stopped until May. Everyone is wearing face masks at airports. All store clerks all over the city are wearing masks as well. As for civilians, some wear the mask and some don't. (imo they don't have to; masks are more suited for preventing an already sick person from spreading the disease further)

As for the US being as worthy of badmouthing as China, gimme a break. Just the fact that he had to wait until he got out of that country before he could safely badmouth it should tell you something about the freedom differential.

How has serpentza managed to get legal residency there full time? Or has he? His wife is a doctor but her English isn't good enough to be able to practice there. Whereas serpentza has no qualifications at all - unless there is a US visa in which you earn so much you can get residency, his You Tube earnings should be pretty substansial these days.

Oh no the Philippines just banned flights from Taiwan for a few weeks due to the corona virus. To get back there i might have to go to another country first.

Probably because Duterte wants to appease the Chinese president by lumping Taiwan and China in together and applying the same laws to both?

What if someone like Dianne were in Taiwan now and her visa ran out? Would she be penalized for not being able to fly home? Lol
