In keeping with my theory in the opening post, "suicides of despair" stand to increase Covid-19 deaths due largely to unemployment.

https://www.ccn.com/chillingly-scariest ... -covid-19/

One thing I am hoping to see is that child support enforcement goes by the wayside due to the unemployment and the closing of courts. This is the time for women to show and prove just how "independent" they are.

It is still too early for me to know for sure if this is my predicted "Great Reset," but it certainly is for certain individuals poorly-equipped to cope with life altered in the way it has.

What remains to be seen is military conflict. This would be the opportune time for countries to launch military attack against their enemies while they are back on their heels. Countries like Iran, Russia, and North Korea have enough Machiavellian leadership to actually pull that off.
I am thinking the same thing but more for Russia. I see Russia launching an invasion of Belarus and Ukraine, and maybe Moldova but they won't do it right away if they do decide to invade those nations. If the coronavirus has lasted until December 2020 with the world shutdown and mass infected and mass deaths in the United States then the Russian army does a German WWII blitzkrieg into Belarus, Ukraine, and Moldova. December 2020 or January 2021. That is if Putin wants to take a gamble with his approval rating and launch a real war that will have deaths of some Russian soldiers. If the war were to go wrong then Putin's approval would be destroyed and if they have real elections in Russia then he could lose.
That would be brilliant timing on the part of Putin. However, I would not see him taking back more than one country at a time. But while the world is distracted, this would be the time for that. Let's home he won't.

Elections in Russia are rigged so political fallout is never his concern. He only has to keep his oligarchy circle satisfied and they are so long as they are filling their pockets with ill-gotten gains.

I think you're right. Belarus and Ukraine are large. Russia already has beachheads in Ukraine and Moldova where they could buildup military but not use them. Belarus is the bigger prize for Putin because that is more in his sphere of influence than Ukraine. Strategically and logistically, Belarus would help more with an invasion of Ukraine.

First target would be Belarus.
Second would be Moldova.
Ukraine would be third after being surrounded on all four sides and face a four-front invasion from the east, north, south, and southwest borders.

The Russian Army invades Eastern Ukraine from the East from Russian territory. They invade Northern Ukraine from southern Belarus which they conquered. The Russian army in Crimea invade Southern Ukraine as they move north from Crimea. Then from Moldova they can quickly move to take Odessa, Ukraine in the south and most of Western Ukraine. They might stop at Lviv if Ukrainian resistance groups there or they might take all Ukraine to prevent any NATO expansion. Russia has great experience dealing with insurgencies after managing to get Chechnya under control and ending Chechen terrorism.

Russia is a commodity based economy. The price of oil is at an all time low, so it should be hurting them greatly. One of the reasons for the fall of the Soviet Union was the collapse of oil and commodities.

Eh, if you spawn a child you should pay. If you're the more capable parent you should also have custody
However, when your child's mother deprives you of seeing the child, maliciously alienates you from your child by badmouthing you, or does not cooperate with you in the rearing of the child, she is electing to go it alone WITHOUT your financial support. Is that fair to the children? No, but that is one of the many unfortunate consequences of having a crappy mother. Without the assistance of the courts, that would be very much the case, hence my post above.
ContrarianExpat, do you have child support to pay and an ungrateful X?

Of course not. I was lucky enough to be able to recognize and avoid such obvious traps at an early age. Never could understand why most men fell for that dupe, often REPEATEDLY!

OK. I've never been married. Could have many times, but avoided. No kids ever either. Yes, I have friends that have been married and divorced several times. I think many men like to be controlled and to have problems to occupy their time.

I truly believe extroverted men are most susceptible to the marriage trap. Some of them are simply not wired to handle being alone with themselves. So to keep from being depressed, on drugs, or away from drinking, they marry. Add to that religion and what they’ve been taught by their mommies and teachers, and they are toast!

This is a communist idea. You are a communist then?
If I was a communist I'd say, "if anyone in society spawns a child, you should help support it." That's not what I said because that's nonsense

If it's your own child and you're a man, you support it. Period.
Not at all. Child support as we now know it was first implemented by the Jewish Bolshevik regime in Russia in order to get women to divorce their husbands and destroy society. Under English Common Law a married man’s obligation to financially support a child arose directly out of his right to raise the child in his household and was only enforced if he chose not to do so. The idea that you would be forced to pay for your wife to kidnap your children would be unthinkable. Unmarried females who have sex are clearly whores and there is no reason their clients should be forced to compensate them for the incompetent management of their profession. It is baffling that Western armies have fought against communism all over the world and yet nothing is done about filthy communists like you.

You are 100% correct, my friend that is letting his girlfriend and her son move in is an extrovert. He's getting someone to talk to all the time.

A reset was already in progress before the CCP Virus. That reset has now been greatly accelerated.
