A "7-star hotel"? What's with the 7 stars? Is that sorta like having "11" on your amplifier (OK, I'm dating myself there...)

One of the ways that the Chinese are kicking the West's @$$ is due to the fact that they spend nothing on R&D, while we in the West do. They just copy everything the West does and figure out a way to sell it cheaper. When there are no R&D costs added in, they can sell everything cheaper. In Italy the streets are full of Chinese vendors selling knock-offs of Gucci, Armani, etc., etc. and it's not always bad stuff, but it costs a fraction of the brand name stuff.

Developing nations need to feel "recognized" and this is how they do it. Look! I have a big dick, too! Now I can be one of the big boys!
