Why do most forums have double standards if they dont like you?

This is the first forum i've ever signed up on. I guess i struck gold by finding this website

Have you guys also noticed that on most forums, control is very tight. As long as you are super polite and don't talk much and kiss the asses of the moderators, they will be nice to you. But if you say too much truth, or show that you are smarter than the moderators, they view you as a threat and start saying nasty things without any logical valid basis as they get ready to ban you.

It's really weird. It's like they are totally f***ed in the head and making it out to be like you are the one who's f***ed in the head. So weird. Totally beyond reason. I've never understood average mainstream people and how they think. It's so bizarre.

Many are also petty and anal when it comes to posting links to other sites. This forum allows links, as long as they are relevant and useful. They must be living in fear to be that anal about it.

Winston, I think I can explain this. It isn't about the internet. It is about American (or maybe all Anglo) culture. American culture is shallow and its members are emotionally insecure. This is why Americans cannot tolerate criticism or anything that threatens their fragile egos. And the reason that men are so insecure is precisely because they can't easily get women. Anything that threatens their status also threatens their mating potential. Of course American men don't understand any of this consciously, but they do subconsciously and act accordingly. This is why American men are generally assholes. I rejected American culture long ago and I never cared what Americans think of me. Now I live in El Paso where I rarely have to deal with Americans. I guess you are secure in the Philippines, so you don't have this issue either. But understanding that most American men are insecure assholes pretty much explains the behavior you see on most pubic forums.

There are plenty of nice people in America. What happens is what David said is correct, its is a sheep mentality and they believe the status que is correct. Even if they are failures in it. The problem is them not the establishment.

This is why I don't post much as I did in some places. For example aggressive posting by some. On one forum I talk about Foreign Women quite a bit and some of course sarcastically say that as much as I talk about these women and spend time overseas I should be married by now. Saying that my thought process is faulty and that if I hadn't had success yet it was still ME that was the problem and not where I went, their sort of proof of concept.

Its that mindset by some that makes me even more want to find the right woman for me and shove it in their face.

The most tolerance that I have seen is on religious forums, particularly Christian and Islamic. And of course this forum which seems rather unique.

That is because Muslims and Christians see it as their mission to win converts and disciples.

Winston, youb talk too much. I have seen you bounce from three different boards after one post. The problem is as an unknown poster you post are too long, thus not read and filled with links which make you a suspected spambot. Most don't want to see that type of post until after you become part of their community. Right now they treat you as the loud mouth, know it all, party crasher.

Also on the marraige boards you come off as a sex tourist, since going to the thrid world to find a wife is so closely linked to that subject anyone who has participated in the sex trade, especially in their hunting ground, is shunned.
