Hey HA, long time no see. I took this forum's advice and spent my time abroad. But, I had to return to US to skill up with grad school.
I've still got a year left (1/2 way there, wohoo!), but struggling with lack of energy/motivation. Life is so grey here. I've forgotten the art of staying motivated while living in this "place".
Refresh my memory, how does one stay motivated while in the west?
PS Tried weed, which wasn't legal back when I was here last. Not a good idea. Before it was scarce, but with unlimited availability of potent stuff you can really get addicted and lazy. I'm gonna start hitting Narcotics Anonymous meetings just as a way of keep myself accountable and some superficial social interactions. Maybe join a church or a mosque? (I'm not really religious but again, just as a way to socialize with non-degenerate people.) Work/school really sucks, its like they're all obsessed with career or their small clique of childhood friends. Great Resignation my ass, lol.
Staying motivated when in the West?
