The three types of cliques in America
The three types of cliques in America
My theory is that there are basically three types of cliques in America. This probably just me reflecting on my own dysfunctional life growing up in suburbia, but I've never seen anything like this discussed before.
1) Religion
Being religious works out well for a lot of people. It's obviously a group that tends to marry young and have more kids. If you can't partake in drinking/drugs/hookups, you better have a church clique or you're going to be in trouble.
My mom started taking to me to church around 13, and it was pretty bad for my social development. I spent a lot of nights in high school reading websites about religion and conspiracy topics. I went to zero parties. Nobody told me to not think too much about the God stuff and just focus on building my church clique.
2) Sports
If you're looking for a place where it's OK to talk to strangers, put on a jersey and go to a pro sports game. It's not the place to pick up girls, but you'll find 100 guys who will talk your ear off as for as long you can keep up with their sports knowledge.
If you're a middle class professional, keeping up with college sports is definitely important to build and keep your college clique. March Madness is practically a national holiday in corporate America.
Personally, I just never understood what's so fascinating about sports. Probably comes with growing up in a single mother household. This wouldn't be a problem except I totally failed to plug in to the other two groups.
3) Drinking/Drugs
In America you better either be a social drinker or very religious. I went to 0 parties in high school. When I went to college I was still holding on to most of my religious beliefs. I went to 0 parties in college. I gained absolutely nothing for it, because I wasn't fitting in at church either. My religious beliefs were starting to fade by the end of college, but it was too late then.
Weed culture is a big thing for millennials. I definitely missed out on a lot of experiences for not being a smoker. I think weed has become a bit less cool for zoomers, but maybe I'm out of touch.
America has big music festivals all the time where it's normal and expected for everyone to be taking party drugs. Young women flock to these year after year and proudly share the pictures online.
Exceptions
It's OK to not be very concerned with drugs or sports or religion, and have hobbies that you do with people. But it seems like the time for that comes after you're married and your clique is set. Just having a hobby isn't enough to get you into a lasting clique.
There are many other "opiates of the masses" that I don't think are worth mentioning here. Like social media is a thing and you'll be weird if you don't have a Facebook account, but just having Facebook doesn't give you anything either.

Re: The three types of cliques in America
I like to add, cliques based on subculture- such as Metalheads, Goths, Hippies, Self Improvement groups, Hipsters, Vegan, Anime lovers, computer nerds, wannabee wall street guys, etc.

Re: The three types of cliques in America
Yeah, I tried to address that. Most music/art subcultures are based around drugs or drinking and wouldn't exist without that. A lot of hippie and self-improvement groups have fringe spiritual beliefs and blur the line between a subculture and a religious cult.
Online gamers aren't really a functional social group. I admit though I've seen a fair number of nerdy non-mainstream couples get together IRL through forums and online gaming.
In my 20s I moved to a bigger city and got to hang out sometimes with a circle of grad students. They were a pretty diverse group and they weren't only about sports or partying. But they'd have nothing to do with me if they didn't know me through a mutual friend.
So I don't want to say there's exactly three types of cliques, it's more like there's three mainstream lifestyles that the vast majority of American normies choose to fall into.

Alright, cool. I understand
Which clique are you in?
I am pretty much a Loner, Social Outcast in America. I am sure most of the people in this site are one. I am a social outcast not because I am some kind of irredeemable criminal scum or terrorist, but because I am a friendly, level headed, authentic, honest, intelligent, kind person who makes decent money. I am not that short either. I am 6ft tall and have square jawline face. I don't look like a mutant or look like one of those asian stereotypes. Some people say I look like a foreigner or Italiano guy. If I am consisted a social outcast then this country is totally f*cked, and have inverted value.

To make matters a lot worse, declaring that you don't like rap/hip hop music and that you don't like the Gangster Disciples or the Latin Kings or the MS-13 gets you labeled a racist and a hater.
3) Drinking/Drugs
In America you better either be a social drinker or very religious. I went to 0 parties in high school. When I went to college I was still holding on to most of my religious beliefs. There are many other "opiates of the masses" that I don't think are worth mentioning here. Like social media is a thing and you'll be weird if you don't have a Facebook account, but just having Facebook doesn't give you anything either.
Violent gangs.
Gangs such as the Latin Kings, Mickey Cobras, MS-13, Los Zetas, and by far America's top favorite gang of all, the Gangster Disciples. America has become a violent culture, a culture of guns, heroin, crack cocaine, and outlaws. America is even on track to becoming one of the Top 5 Most Dangerous countries worldwide, potentially becoming as dangerous as Venezuela, even Afghanistan or Syria.
Violence has become a huge thing for Americans. Violent rap music, ghetto culture, crime, illegal drugs, more than 90% of American millennials and post-millennials are in violent gangs, many of them have already done time in jail before high school graduation. Violent rap music played at bars and nightclubs causes patrons to become rowdy and vicious, resulting in fights, brawls, shootings, homicides, stabbings with broken beer bottles, vandalism.
The nightclub atmosphere has devolved and degenerated into just 2 music genres. Rap, and country. American nightclubs are no longer worth going to anymore because 1, the only form of dancing that is even legal in the United States is country line dancing which is designed to isolate men from women and ensure that there is at least a 6 foot air buffer zone between all dancers, and 2, the only other option is violent rap music that you practically can't even dance to.
And for everyone's info, rap music (also known more commonly as hip-hop) is that violent gangbanger music with all the profanity, yelling, and the glorification of the gang life.

Oh My bad..Truth seekers. However unfortunately, American women are only turned on by CHAD Thundercock, Badboys, millionaires, gangbangers, pimps, playboys, drug dealers, and other type of social degenerates. Their values have been inverted.kangarunner wrote: ↑December 30th, 2022, 10:04 amWe're not outcasts. Yeah, I didn't really deal with that, but you said your self here it's a drugs based culture. Seems like 90% of zoomers only listen to hip hop and worship street culture, which isn't great. Even white zoomers who live in suburbia.Mercury wrote: ↑December 30th, 2022, 10:16 amViolent gangs.

White people are so cucked out these days in the Western world I honestly can't even stand being around their asses anymore. They were a lot better in the 1990s and early 2000s, but todays' white embrace a lot of self defeat/self destructive bullshit just to be accepted by blacks.peregrino wrote: ↑December 31st, 2022, 2:38 pmYeah, I didn't really deal with that, but you said your self here it's a drugs based culture. Damn bro.. that's a pity. It seems that decades of Cultural Marxism, Feminist Indoctrination, Affirmative Action, White Guilt, etc has made most white people cuckhold and self loathing. It's a shame because White people carved out a massive colonial empire, built and spread modern civilization all around the world. Their ancestors were awesome, but now what do they get? White people are the bad guys?WanderingProtagonist wrote: ↑January 1st, 2023, 2:59 amWhite people are so cucked out these days in the Western world I honestly can't even stand being around their asses anymore. There's this weird thing in America where men size you up by how much you care about sports and nothing else about you really matters. Is that a white thing? Are Korean men in South Korea like that? I don't think there's a big sports culture there. What do dudes talk about?

Re: The three types of cliques in America
Mainly Koreans usually talk about World Cup, Olympics, and Soccer because "their nation" is involved there. However some like Baseball, some like Basketball. Soccer and basketball are the main sports kids play in the school yards. We're not crazy about American Football like the whites do. I never seen any Korean delve deep into American Football like John Madden, because I guess even they found it so bloody boring.peregrino wrote: ↑January 1st, 2023, 11:49 amYeah, I'm from the Midwest. Like previously mentioned, I don't really don't care about sports at all except when South Korea is playing in the World Cup or Olympics.
However, it seems that people have an unhealthy obsession with Football. Then I guess Baseball, Basketball, and Hockey comes next? But Football is America's main bread and butter.

Re: The three types of cliques in America
That's why I told @Yohan BLM had no business in Japan. These idiot whites done f***ed up their own countries with all that shit, now they want to do it to Asian nations. And because Asian people tend to imitate what they see White countries doing (especially the ones like Korea, Japan, etc) they will gladly embrace a lot of the same dumb nonsense. All they need is to let enough liberal whites move in and they'll gladly teach Asians how to hate who they are, and then tell them how racist they are for not letting in a bunch of other people that look nothing like them. They'll push and push until Asians cave in and surrender. That's why these assholes get off on cuckoldry so much, and I'm not just saying that word to be saying. I remember some Antifa dude was getting maced in the face by a cop in 2020, and he had on a shirt that said "I love being cucked." Something is seriously wrong with leftist white people that Asia would do well to keep these fuckers the hell out of their country if they know what's good for them. But it's too late for places like Japan if they keep on doing ignorant dumb stuff, letting white liberals in to convert and transform them.Natural_Born_Cynic wrote: ↑January 1st, 2023, 6:39 amDamn bro.. that's a pity. Seems like 90% of zoomers only listen to hip hop and worship street culture, which isn't great. Even white zoomers who live in suburbia.Mercury wrote: ↑December 30th, 2022, 10:16 amViolent gangs.
All I have left is a small group of friends from high school, a few of them åre religious and sporty types, a few are loners like me. I tried the best ways I knew how to become a normie in my 20s, but it didn't work out.Natural_Born_Cynic wrote: ↑December 30th, 2022, 9:06 amAlright, cool.
I'm a white guy, but I grew up in a small town in the Rust Belt with a religiously nutty childhood and no father around, I didn't realize how socially outmatched I was going to be every step of the way going to college then moving to a bigger city and entering corporate America. My best shot would have been to become a sports fan or a stoner and connect with some people on that dimension, but I was too naive or free-thinking I guess.![]()
Re: The three types of cliques in America
It's the Jews who are behind BLM etc.WanderingProtagonist wrote: ↑January 1st, 2023, 2:09 pmThat's why I told @Yohan BLM had no business in Japan. These idiot whites done f***ed up their own countries with all that shit, now they want to do it to Asian nations.
