Yeah he never actually got doxed. But the fact that someone even tried to do it is already f***ed up. Like why would people even do that shit? It's not like @Ghost was a harmful poster. He seemed like a perfectly reasonable bloke. We had some disagreements in the past but honestly a lot of the things he said before, I later came to agree with somewhat. Kind of miss his presence on the forum. I hope wherever he is, he's doing alright.

And hey @Tsar lets not make thread titles like that anymore. I was legit scared for a second that the guy had died, especially since Jester died last year and @publicduende made a memorial thread of him.
He was an arsehole who would start flame wars for no reason as you very well know. That time it went wrong for him. You might have liked his contributions but you are painting it in a dishonest light if you are making him out to be an innocent victim on here, he would start flame wars regularly and not just with me.

Pretty sure he disliked me, too. He was an interesting character. Not very pleasant. And he did not ACTUALLY get doxed. Anyway a lot of the 'veteran posters' were every bit as nasty as the current batch we have if not worse. After a while time just erases a lot of the unpleasantness. And I just wonder from time to time: "What happened to that guy?"

@Ghost was really interesting. Actually @Falcon no longer talks to me (for some reason).

I think I exchanged a few messages with Ghost a few years ago. We should have done more together, and it was a shame that I never met him irl. I've met quite a few forum members.

@eurobrat introduced me to @Jester and I did once talk to him on the phone while I was living in Berlin.

I just hope everybody is OK. A couple of weeks ago my uncle threw himself off a cliff (true story). Maybe all the contrails or 5G signals the WEF put out are aimed at reducing the population of serfs. Be careful out there guys... your worst enemy is always yourself.

My own happier abroad story died, with covid being the final nail in the coffin. I just did not forsee that both my TEFL career and IT career would be killed off at the same time. Now I have too much baggage to go and live abroad again. No I don't have a phat Filipino wife, but I have gone hugely into physical assets in order to ready myself for the inevitable collapse of FIAT currencies. I do plan on being extremely wealthy in my retirement years, and I hope I can overwinter in places like Thailand and Southern Spain.
Hi Xiongmao, I'm still here. You can still talk to me. I'm just happy with my famliy and got a bit tired of the confusing posts that are taking over this forum.

How has everything changed since we last met nearly a decade ago?
