Hi,
I've been on here maybe 8 or 9 years or so. Back in the day, a lot of millennials were complaining about how hard it was to get a decent paying job, and of course they were complaining about how hard it was to find a friendly woman to date or develop a relationship with.
The economy has boomed and busted... but busted with a labor shortage in parts of the world... since then.
How many of you since joining the forum have:
- Gotten married.
- Settled down in a long term relationship that is still going on.
- Gotten settled into a reasonable (or better) job or career?
How many of you have done that in your home country? How many have found a foreign woman or a career overseas?
I was married to an Indonesian wife when I joined the forum, and I still am. I was in grad school when I joined the forum. I have since gotten a decent job overseas, then that contract expired, went through unemployment, then settled into a decent job/career in the US.... hopefully. We'll see how it goes in a year or so.

I wonder if Contrarian Expat stopped posting because he found his 'unicorn' and settled down and didn't want to talk about it or eat crow, or if he just realized that all the personal bickering attacks he started were just a waste of his time, or something else.

Like I have posted before
I have a job, but no wife yet. In America, women don't like frugal guys like I am who live below his means. Frugality is a massive turnoff for them.
I want to try my luck abroad.
