You are new to the forum. Go research the great Mercer controversy. Pixeldude did some research on who was behind that sock puppet and concluded it was Rock. And yes, we all saw the video. (BTW Rock hates having that video with his true name and face associated with this disreputable forum.) Lots of people can present themselves as normal in public but have a dark side. This disreputable forum encourages people to reveal that dark side.

I think trash is NPCslammer. I searched some of the phrases and mannerisms trash uses and they match to NPCslammer. NPCslammer also had a fight with Yick.

So just because we're member of this "disreputable" forum nothing of what we say deserves to be believed? I also have an Engineering degree from Italy, and "one and half" Masters (didn't complete the 2nd one) in London, and both joined HA and "sexpatted" in the Phlippines. Why are the two things mutually exclusive?

On my first visit in Davao in 2013 I met a man who was obviously autistic, borderline functional Asperger I think, and he gave me his business card: he was one of Intel's top engineering managers. He knew exactly how to build state of the art microprocessors, yet was awkward as f*ck with the Filipina gf he was strutting around with.

Most of us are quirky, including yourself, @Shemp. No point feigning an air of superiority. For one reason or another, we couldn't/woudn't align with our respective status quos and found solace in a life full of "alternative" decisions. I remember the controversy. I have no evidence either way. A few of years ago everybody believe that the "Italian chef in Manila" poster and I were the same person. Turns out I met the guy and I definitely wasn't looking at myself in a mirror!

The question with Rock is, he must have quite a lot of time in his hands, if he can invest so much in posing as all these sockpuppets. Maybe he is so dry right now, in terms of interesting things to do, he can't do better than amusing himself (certainly not us) on an obscure corner of the Interwebz.
