Due to a corruption in the forum database, no one was able to post for hours last night. I spent a lot of time trying to fix the database with repair tools. It should now work again and you can all post now. Thanks for your patience.

The forum is working again I think. Try it now. I just fixed the database after upgrading the hosting space to a bigger package. We should not run out of disk space anymore. I should have done that long ago. I didn't know there was a hosting package for the same price with bigger diskspace. The advertising on Bluehost sucks and is not clear and the panel is hard to navigate.

At this moment it works and it seems reasonable speed and error-free. We will see after a week or so if there are again off-line issues coming up.

There shouldn't be any more issues because I upgraded the hosting package from 29 GB to 165 GB for the same price. Their pricing is weird. I should have done that long ago. The disk space kept going 99 percent and 100 percent full, which caused the forum to crash. Since that won't happen anymore, the forum is much less likely to crash.

Have any of you noticed the forum keep timing out the last few days? I wonder why. The new hosting package we have has plenty of RAM and resources so this shouldn't be happening. Bluehost just sucks it seems.

My webhost told me that there are hacker attacks on this forum and that may be why the forum is slow and times out. We should enable Cloudflare to stop that.

Disk space is OK now, the forum never crashed again - however the response time is really long and requires many retries.
Not sure about the reason - it could be internet connection between Japan and the States, or the data base of HA needs some maintenance, or whatever. Sometimes it works nicely, sometimes not.

Yes, try that. It's a nuisance but it might fix the problem. If it doesn't help , just disable it again and try something else.

I jsut had my webhost do a reset on the MySQL of this forum. So hopefully it should work better now. I think the server still thought it only had 30 GB disk space and so kept crashing. So it needed a hard reset.
