I'm Asian and even I'll admit people like David Duke, Pat Buchanan and Jared Taylor are right in many instances regarding race. America is being torn apart by racial, religious, and class differences. That is why the U.S. is one of the most segregated countries in the world. I would say this is the case as well with other Anglo Saxon countries such as Canada, Australia, U.K., etc., though much less in comparison to America.The_Hero_of_Men wrote:Even through all of that, do you guys look down on David Duke? You're right. Even in Canada, there is a lotttttttttttt of mixing compared to the USA. It was easier for me to date different nationalities up there. I have dated CBC (Canadian-born Chinese) women and Chinese women in Canada that were F.O.B's, and Chinese in the States loathe anything that isn't themselves nor White/European!!!zboy1 wrote:I'm Asian and even I'll admit people like David Duke, Pat Buchanan and Jared Taylor are right in many instances regarding race. I dont care for it. The whole world is racist. I am the least racist person in the world. I dont care about race. Perhaps Im ignorant but there is no doubt about it that the whole wide world is racist. I live in a heavily multicultural society of all kinds of racist, religion, and background and what I see most is people dating within themselves. I mean how racist is that? You only date people that look like you, think like you, and act like you? You almost never see people dating differently. Its quite uncommon compared to the rest. but its also quite sad because they dont know what they are missing out.
Ooh well Its their lost.
by the way what I have is a preference, what attracts me most what i Want my kids to look like. So I choice white women. Now that is besides the point if I like their ideas, culture, and behavior. but i do like them the most.

He is ultra right and the ultra right stink as much as the ultra left. Both have the agenda to divide and conquer and the giant corporations just love for that to be happening. Screw them both.

Re: Opinion on race preferences
I really don't think there is anything wrong with a person who prefers women of a particular race. Some people just have certain aesthetic preferences. It isn't necessarily an indication of racism. I know several Asians and have a couple Asian friends from college. I just don't like the way Asian women look. I think that it has something to do with the environment that a person is raised in. If you grew up around people of a particular race during your adolescence then you will usually be attracted to individuals of that race.Iawesome60 wrote:I want to know why do people care about race when they're looking for a partner? It's WAY worse to care about race than someone's face, body, personality, etc. When i'm looking for a partner, I do not care about race at all. I'm attracted to women of all possible skin colors, eye and hair colors. I would feel mortified if I turn down a woman because she was a certain race or if I say things like "you're attractive for a (insert race) woman." NOOOOOOOOO! You're being racist. When I get married and my wife has children, our daughter(s) and/or son(s) will not have this problem. They can date whatever race they like (within or outside). The only thing I care about is how they're treating our daughter(s) and/or son(s).
If you find someone unattractive (it happens sometimes):
1. Don't you dare consider race as your reason
2. No name calling (like saying certain people of a race look like gorillas, apes, ugly, etc)
3. Have legitimate reasons (face, teeth, overweight, obese, personality, NOT RACE, etc)

Everyone has their preferences which should be respected. Some folks are "equal opportunity" daters (will date any race) and some aren't. I think it has to do more with physical characteristics people have, which might or might not be, prevalent of a certain race.l For example, if a guy likes dark skin and full lips, he would more likely gravitate towards latinas and/or black women. I think it hasless to do with race unless they are racists or prefer to date someone within own race/culture to share and pass on their culture to their children.
Personally to me, attractive: I know it when I see it. I can't really describe what I find attractive to a T because beauty/attractiveness can come in many different ways in terms of apearance. What we find attractive to an extent is influenced by our media, upbringing and environment. In the end, we judge what we find attractive, which might or might not go with that society/your friends/etc think what's attractive.

Race doesn't really matter to me. I am sort of mixed myself(English&Swedish).
I would be more worried about multi-culturalism than race mixing. All countries were produced by race mixing of different tribes and so forth. But I don't think a country with multiple cultures and languages is going to go very far. Don't confuse race mixing with multi-culturalism.

yea i kind of have to agree here.philly is becoming worse and worse by the day with racism every one here speaks they're own language and give any one outside of they're culture dirty looks.in north east philly where i live there are so many foreign families it's crazy i speak three different languages and it is still not enough to understand even half the people here and they come off as racist especially towards black americans that is one thing they can all see eye to eye on.i think it is the environment .one thing i have noticed is that all races hate blacks and it is hard for blacks to get into they're circles but whites particularly the males can penetrate with ease and a lot of them don't even speak the language or know any thing of the said culture but look at me crazy because i speak they're language like i'am not supposed to be well cultured because i'm a black american.second generation puerto ricans make me laugh some times they all speak english as a first language but communicate with other hispanics who speak english in spanish and on top of that they don't speak spanish correctly or they speak spanglish.i speak better spanish than they do and they think i don't understand them.newlife wrote:Race doesn't really matter to me. Wow. And I thought I was the only cat whom has been noticing that about American-born Latinos (i.e. Latino-Americans not Latin Americans - big difference!) and Americanized Latin Americans. Good, f***ing post.skateboardstephen wrote:yea i kind of have to agree here.philly is becoming worse and worse by the day with racism every one here speaks they're own language and give any one outside of they're culture dirty looks.in north east philly where i live there are so many foreign families it's crazy i speak three different languages and it is still not enough to understand even half the people here and they come off as racist especially towards black americans that is one thing they can all see eye to eye on.i think it is the environment .one thing i have noticed is that all races hate blacks and it is hard for blacks to get into they're circles but whites particularly the males can penetrate with ease and a lot of them don't even speak the language or know any thing of the said culture but look at me crazy because i speak they're language like i'am not supposed to be well cultured because i'm a black american.second generation puerto ricans make me laugh some times they all speak english as a first language but communicate with other hispanics who speak english in spanish and on top of that they don't speak spanish correctly or they speak spanglish.i speak better spanish than they do and they think i don't understand them.newlife wrote:Race doesn't really matter to me. Speaking proper Spanish in countries in Latin America takes even the blackest, ugliest (not referring to you Stephen at all) to a new level of respect.
S. American countries where speaking proper Spanish is important:
1) Colombia
2) Chile
3) Argentina
4) Perú (and they speak uberfast and swear up and down that they speak the best Spanish. Not. Colombians speak it better IMHO)
5) Paraguay, Uruguay (get honorable mention)
S. American countries I have been to that are happy you got your point across in basic jargony Spanish:
1) Bolivia
2) Ecuador
3) Venezuela

Just to throw my 2 cents in on the whole "race" thing.
I'm white, and have mostly dated white woman. I dated a black women before and that was good too. However, Asian women just "do" it for me. I never dated an Asian woman, because most the Asian women here in the Midwest are Hmong, and they "rarely" date outside their culture, let alone their race. Perhaps once I start dating Asian women, I'll be attracted to another race of women, but I doubt it since I have always found them attractive. I don't HATE white woman, and find many of them attractive BUT I am MORE attracted to Asian women.
Perhaps to some, it's just a matter of being attracted to someone whom is different in some way. It could be religion, culture, skin color, personality, or social status. Who knows? Some think it's bad, I don't!
skateboardstephen? I personally do not "hate" any race, let along the "black" race. I rarely hate anyone or anything. Here is my philosophy;
An black jerk is still a jerk and a white jerk is still a jerk. Skin color, religion. political bent, sexual orientation etc... has nothing to with it. It's all about actions and reactions. I often have found that some people use their "minority" status, whatever it is, in order to deflect their personal flaws and/or shield them from criticism for their actions and/or words. That, my friends, is the mark of the true jerk!

As a black man growing up I'll admit I did possess a sort of jaded view on black women as because I grew up around them all the time most came off as aggressive disrespecting bitches and if you met any who weren't then they were gold diggers while not to mention I just didn't find them attractive at all.
Growing up most girls I went out with were every now and then white, Asian(favorite) and I had one indian girlfriend during my 11th grade year.
Not racist at all but even now after I've grown up and realized all people can be gold diggers and complete bitches thanks to feminism but I still just can't shake the image I got of black women in general now(specially after the crap they caused my dad).
