You are the only one that thinks I'm older than my age. I swear to God. You are THE FIRST PERSON ever in my life to say that. THOUSANDS of people have said that I look 10 years younger than my age. Thus the odds are that you are wrong and that your opinion of my looks don't represent the majority opinion.

I am often told that my innocent naive facial expression makes me look younger than my age, plus my Chinese genes help too.

I told you before, Russian women don't think I'm hot either, but they are super open to me, because they are open by nature, and they french kiss me too. That means that it's a cultural thing. Even the security guard in my neighborhood here tell me that I am RIGHT when I said that TW girls aren't open to strangers. That's a cultural fact. You can't deny that that's a factor. Everyone else says it is. Every common person here admits that I'm right.

Besides, TW guys who are no better looking than me have hot girls in TW, cause they got the connections and networks that they grew up with to meet girls through. But even they cannot go out in public and randomly pick up girls and get dates out of nowhere, the way I did in Russia. Even you know that. Come on now. If they were in my shoes, they'd do no better.

But if you grow up in TW and have cliques of friends, you eventually grow up with girls that become your girlfriend. That's how they do it. If they were in my shoes, they'd have no better luck.

You are highly selective in your evidence.

I may dress poorly compared to you, but I'm not below average in that department. What is wrong with t-shirt or polo shit and jeans or slacks? That's normal and standard, not poor.

Besides, I don't think most women are as judgmental or picky as you when it comes to clothes. As long as I look decent, then the other factors such as chemistry and feeling and vibe come into play and will be gauged.

Finally, even if you were right and that most women find me unattractive, still, if only 5 out of 100 women thought I was handsome, I'd have a pretty good dating life if I just met those 5. Right?

True. Plus everyone has different taste too. Some think round faces are cute.

Well some mirrors make me look symmetrical, cause when I look in them, my face is surprisingly oval shaped, which makes me look symmetrical and good looking. So I stare for a long time.

Sure, I know the mirror is a bit distorted, but still... I don't think I'm anywhere as ugly as Repatriate makes me out to be. Maybe he is the one that's unattractive and just taking it out on me because he's insecure and needs someone below his "pecking order"? LOL

Honestly though, I've never met a handsome guy before who had a need to tell me that I'm ugly. It's usually other unattractive guys who do that. (for example, philosophical filipino emailed me and told me that I was ugly too, after I banned him that is) Handsome guys are usually optimistic and just give me positive pep talk like "Don't worry. Some girls will like you. You just gotta find the right one that's all. You don't look too bad."

Btw, just to note: When I was in NYC, a no-nonsense Jewish guy I met who was on my mailing list, said to me several times "Winston, you are not bad looking. You are just naive and gullible."

Now why would a no-nonsense clever Jewish guy (who claims he can smell a scam a mile away because he's a Jewish New Yorker) say that I'm not bad looking, if it wasn't true?

Rock is right that just as different guys have different tastes (me vs. him for example), girls do too.

Notice that I am dressed in decent appropriate attire. How is that poorly dressed, Repatriate? Why do you always say that, no matter what I wear? If I wore exactly what Tom Cruise wore everyday, would you say that too? Do I have a victim vibe that makes you say that?

Momopi is a tall decent looking guy. Yet when he and I were in Taipei, the women were not any more open to him than they were to me. How do you explain that? You said that TW girls were open to everyone who is decent looking right?

Btw, my friend who is a retired mental health counselor, and as honest as a guy can get, told me this earlier today, about his trip to Taiwan. He is a white guy too. So how do you explain this?

If my memory serves, I was in Taiwan in 2007. Sometimes on my mongering trips I will take a few days and spend in one of my "link" cities, just to see it and get a feel. I had no contacts in Taipei and was with a mongering friend. Note that our goal was not to monger there (as we had already read the scene was abysmal) but just to have a look-see. On that particular trip, I was not overly skinny--that was a trip I caught Pneumonia on upon returning to the United States, as I recall--partly b/c of being out-of-shape.

I was only in Taiwan a few days and in many ways it was similar to my trip to China, which was a much longer excursion--that is to say, I got the same "distant" vibe there--perhaps even worse--than I got in China. I took no tours or did anything except wander around just to pick up vibes and get a feel for the place and other than it seeming a bit more "open" and less contrived than the China that was presented to me (I went there on a package tour with a group of friends--never again), I got absolutely NO play from any woman, no indications of interest and not much overt sign of any sexual vibe or activity in the air at all--the people seemed all business. Amazing that I hopped on a plane to Bangkok and in four hours' travel time the atmosphere could change so radically.

And, yes, I did notice the lack of eye contact and an experience I have had in many European countries, esp. in Northern Europe/Scandinavia, of complete and utter disinterest.

So you see, not all white guys think Taiwanese women are open and approachable to strangers.

For example, if I get into better shape, deliberately wear nicer clothes, project an air of confidence (even if it's false), I notice I get better responses even here in America--particularly so if I say very positive things. FWIW, I think you are a pretty decent-looking guy who could probably improve your looks by losing some weight and adding some muscle, as some in your forum have pointed out. I also agree that some women will find you attractive, some will not--tastes vary considerably.

See? He used the word "decent looking" to describe me, which is what MOST guys say about my looks, in my experience. So your extreme opinion of my looks seems to be a minority opinion.

Different women like different things. My lady is dreaming of mixed babies and she likes my white skin - as a Cantonese girl it seems totally exotic to her. My first Chinese gf dreamed of a new life in the USA. The ones I've had trouble with are the ladies who aren't sure what they want.

My current Chinese lady is not tall. I love those tall Chinese women. On the other hand, my lady has the cutest feet, and being slightly overweight compared to other Chinese girls her skin is incredibly soft .

Winston, Winston, even if you did lose weight, you would still look like you are 65 years old. I don't know what you have done to yourself, but you are simply older in appearance. You cannot dress to save your life. I would give you this though, you do look better in black. Like others have said, you could change your hairstyle a bit. You are lucky to have a full head of hair. I talk to some middle-aged men and men in their 30's and they have the horseshoe on their head. You are lucky in this regard. There's something about your facial structure that is peculiar. You looked much better in your youth. I think your Facebook default profile picture is the best picture you have of yourself that I have seen. You just need to change your diet,exercise daily, change your wardrobe and a few other things and you should be good to go.

I'm not lying. Thousands, or at least hundreds, have said that I look a lot younger than my age. People from all walks of life. I am NOT lying when I say that. But when I say that, I am talking about the thousands of people I've met throughout my whole life, not within the last few years. I'm talking about a lifetime.

Btw, as discussed on another thread, most women need to be in a relationship before they have sex. Most women aren't into casual sex. So just because they think you are handsome, doesn't mean they want to sleep with you right away. If you had any experience with women, or close female friendships, you'd know that.

Even RickLee, a handsome guy who has had a lot of hot girls, said that most women are wired to want a relationship before having sex. I posted his comment in that casual sex thread.

Therefore, you can't use whether they have casual sex with you right away as a barometer of whether they genuinely think you're handsome or not. Women are not like that, at least not most of them.
