Should negative guestbook comments be removed?

Yes remove them. No good comes from them. You should keep this site clean to create the best possible image of it to others. Even if the negative comments are false, people tend to be quick to believe the worst, and that's dangerous.

No, keep the negative comments. They make your guestbook and site more colorful and entertaining. And they keep it real too. Sites that only show positive comments look fake and contrived. And besides, aren't you for free speech you said?

Should negative guestbook comments be removed?

Postby Winston » Wed Nov 18, 2009 9:42 am

Now that the flaming bashing board is removed, the next question is whether negative or bashing comments in the guestbook should be kept or removed?

Do they help keep the site honest and colorful? Or do they hurt our image?

What do you think? Should we follow the course of other sites and only show positive comments in the guestbook? Or should we be truthful and show both sides?

Here is the guestbook I'm referring to:

And what about these pages? Should they be removed too? Or kept on for attention and entertainment?
