I am a bit more optimistic.
USA is not alone regulating the issues about Islam.

China is now on its best way to ban the Quran claiming 'extremist content'.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/china/a ... Koran.html

http://shoebat.com/2015/06/30/china-ban ... -complain/

Also Europe is reacting slowly, but it is starting, there are now so-called Burqa-ban laws, and laws against financing certain Muslim projects with money from abroad, much more immigration restrictions than ever before.

Here in Japan, there is no problem with Islam at all as there is little immigration and so far only about 0.2 percent or so of the Japanese population are Muslims (most of them from Indonesia/Malaysia) - this is a Buddhist country, and the huge majority of the Japanese people are plainly not interested in Islam. Even here in central Tokyo you see only a few Muslims, most of them tourists.

I see no problem in USA either, as only 3 % are Muslims want to live among the infidels.

I do not see any Muslim to speak for himself or herself in this video above.
No idea who this person is.

Let use see some other video, where you can see a few Muslims in Japan and interesting also to read the follow-up comments.
Anyway, whatever, Muslim population is insignificant in Japan.

Neat Turkish and US-Embassy, no protest directly against Japan.

Oppressed Muslim woman....
Any idea in which country this video was taken? France or maybe Belgium I guess.

This is quite informative about these few educated Muslims in Japan and their activities,
but again near the end of this video he is starting proselytizing, and of course there is no explanation, how to leave Islam it if you do not want to be a Muslim any longer - and that's really the problem...

Sir, are you aware that the world's largest cinema industry - India's Bollywood - is dominated (in terms of impact and status) by Muslim actors and directors, and that Bollywood film titles and song lyrics are often in Urdu, not Hindi, because Urdu is regarded as a richer and more romantic language?

2. Are you also aware that Turkey is the now the second-largest exporter of scripted TV series after the United States? This means that Turkey now exports more soap operas than Mexico and Brazil. Heck, Turkey exports soap operas to Latin America!

3. Re: pleasure, it is so ironic that you have this perspective because as I wrote in an earlier post, for almost all of the Islamic world's history - right up until 1979 - it was viewed in the West as a place for pleasure-seekers, in contrast to the morally-upstanding Christian West. The Muslim world was seen as some kind of man's paradise, where even an ordinary man was entitled to have up to four wives; meanwhile, the Sultan or Emir had access to unimaginable sexual ecstasies with countless numbers of beautiful women.
This was, of course, a caricature, just as the Muslim world today is generally not the repressed society of the contemporary imagination.
The guideline what is permissible in Islam is not India or Turkey, but Saudi Arabia.
http://listverse.com/2012/11/12/top-10- ... di-arabia/

Further, what is produced for EXPORT to Western countries does not mean it is considered for consumption of local people.

I never considered Islam - even not when I was still a young man - as something which does offer any form of pleasure - it was never a man's paradise, at least not if we talk about any ordinary young man living in wide parts of the Islamic world. It was never a pleasure for poor women too.

It was and still is only a paradise for the very rich Islamic people, for both men and women, who just get on an airplane to Rome, London, Paris, New York, Tokyo. Bangkok and enjoy there, what is missing in their own Islamic world.

Ordinary Muslim men are often horribly poor, are forced to work for very little money, living in large slums, and often are single and lonely... because for marriage, for a girl you have to pay... money is money. - Where is the 'pleasure' for these ordinary young Muslim men?

Nobody can deny, that especially in Islam there is a huge separation not only by gender, but also by wealth.
The difference between poor and rich is shocking. Somehow slaves and master...
Actually, the reverse is true. Saudi Arabia is one of only two countries in the world which has Wahhabism as the state religion. Wahabbis don't even recognise three of the four schools of Sunni law/ethics/philosophy, let alone the Shiite schools. It is therefore literally impossible for their rulings to to be regarded as valid for anyone apart from them and maybe Qatar - and we all know how that turned out.

Re: the idea that Indians and Turks somehow do not consume their own cultural products, that is just, like, wow!

As for the perception of Islam as a sort of man's paradise, this was the consensus perception of Western orientalist scholars. What you or I may think is irrelevant - this was the consensus.

Making wild blanket statements about the best part of two billion people is an exercise in futility.
If this what you write is true, Muslims would not line up to become immigrants in huge numbers to the Western world, but would move to all these rich Islamic Republics.

However even Islamic media does not share your opinion. Just see a few comments below.

And it is still the infidel, which countries provide food assistance to poor Muslim people. Of course without any thanks in return.
I don't know about any Muslim country, which provides any help to any poor non-Muslim population.

http://english.alarabiya.net/en/views/n ... poor-.html
Why are Muslim countries poor?

http://www.alhudacibe.com/imhd/news22.php
Poverty in Muslim World is Rapidly Increasing: Zubair Mughal
(Tunis) Half of global poverty reside in Muslim world while the Muslim population is 24% of the total global population, if the dangerously increasing poverty in the Muslim community is not controlled soon then it will be alarming.
.....
..... the countries mentioned in the list are China, India, Brazil and Chili etc. but when we look at the enlisted countries we will come to know that then countries mentioned in the list are not Muslim and by this we will come to know that the poverty is decreasing in non Muslim countries and increasing in Muslim world.
https://www.forbes.com/sites/quora/2013 ... d16ac6282c
Why Have The Islamic Countries Failed To Develop Even With Resources Like Oil, While Countries With No Resources Like Switzerland Have Flourished?
Most Muslim migrants do move to richer parts of the OIC, usually within the same country. Only a tiny fraction end up in the West.

Turks - who are by far the largest Muslim-majority nationality within the EU - have experienced net migration back to Turkey since c.2010, similar to Mexicans in the US. They don't all want to come here - that's a total myth. Why would you want to leave a country which averaged 6.7% growth/year between 2010 and 2016 to come to a bloc where you face discrimination in a stagnant jobs market?

Why should a man change his religion or his atheist opinion into converting to Islam to live with a Muslim woman?
For one, Muslim women are generally more attached to their religion than post-Christian women in the West. It very likely matters to them and their families, and it can be a dealbreaker in a relationship. They don't want to negate what they see as an important religious teaching.

If that's not your bag, no problem. If you're not serious about relationships and are only looking for casual flings, then scouting for girls in most non-Western countries is going to be at least a relative waste of time - they are more socially conservative than those your own domestic scene.

Every religion has its own rules. If you are a serious Catholic and want to join the priesthood, you have to swear off all women for life. You can't get married at all. But I assume you don't have a problem with this.

It's a difference between 'do not want' and 'are not allowed (and being threatened with beatings, acid attack and even with honor killing by relatives!)

If you are a Catholic or a follower of any other religion, except Islam, you can leave anytime this religion and nobody will ever follow you.

Only if you are a Muslim, apostasy law will ask for your execution.

This is a very serious problem which shows that Islam is a medieval backwarded religion.

So-called apostasy and blasphemy laws have no place in any advanced modern society.
It also shows that Islam is not tolerating the value of freedom of religion.

Obviously any crazy Muslim can kill innocent people somewhere in Western countries and it seems no Muslim has a problem with that - it's only about a few dead infidels, like now in Marseille.

But it seems Muslims have a problem if any infidel is creating a cartoon...

Ridiculous!

The Holy Place for ALL Muslims is located in Saudi Arabia, the origin of Islam is clearly from that region and no Muslim I ever met, is questioning this.
It is clear that Wahhabism is the guardian of pure Islamic teaching.
You could say the same about the Vatican and the Catholic Church.
Re: the idea that Indians and Turks somehow do not consume their own cultural products, that is just, like, wow!
India is not a Muslim country, hardly to claim that anything related to Islam is 'India's own cultural product'.

About Turks, a huge number of them are living outside of Turkey, often doing business with their native country, where costs of labor are considerably cheaper compared to the West and of course a large part of their own local products are for export and why not? It's not only about 'cultural products' like videos or music etc. I see nothing wrong with it.
As for the perception of Islam as a sort of man's paradise, this was the consensus perception of Western orientalist scholars. What you or I may think is irrelevant - this was the consensus.
Only a feminist without any knowledge of the real situation in Islamic countries can claim such a nonsense.

If you really think, Islam is the paradise for men, then I wonder why so many Muslim men want to leave those countries.
Of course it's about economic reasons, better a good life as Muslim man among infidels than a poor life as Muslim man among Muslims I guess.

Indonesia has blasphemy laws, which are used against any Muslim who decides to leave the Islamic faith, almost the same as apostasy laws.

Blasphemy laws were used in the past against atheists, and even against Christians if they say anything, which does not fit the Muslim.

To say something like 'God does not exist' might send you in Indonesia behind bars for years.

A part of Indonesia, Aceh, in Western Sumatra, is under Sharia law, which overrides Indonesian law.
